Appreciate being curated.
Still trying to decide what I'm going to make next. Probably granola but since I just bought a gigantic bag (25lbs) of sunflower seeds maybe I'll find something different :)
Thank you for the mention and the support via curation :)
Maybe a butter with sunflower seeds would be good.
You're welcome @tergan
Thanks for the suggestion. With a 25lb bag I have a bunch to go through. I was actually thinking of pressing the oil to make salad dressing then using the defatted seed meal as a base for a cookie or biscuit. Too soon to tell though :)
Those ideas are great. You can also use them as part of a granola, or also in energy bars. There are many options
Granola with sesame, sunflower and pecan is certainly on my list. I'm also contemplating if millet would go well in granola. I've just recently learned about millet so I have never eaten or know anything about it .... on my "To Do" list. Tonight I spent the last 3 hours looking at every vitamin and mineral and every "best source" of nutrition to come up with a pantry must have list.
Next up...figuring out tasty meals that use those basic foods....
Actually kind of tricky when I'm looking for peak nutrition at minimum cost and actually being deliberate about what I eat (sigh)
But recipe's (and posts) will come...once I have something useful to post :)
We know you will make great recipes.
