a Personal Improvement Attained in My Journey on Hive

As I look back to reflect on my journey on Hive for the past two years, I can’t help but be grateful to God, the man who created this platform and the man who introduced me to Hive for the great value that has been added to my life since I came in here.

When I was told about the Hive Platform, and that one of the ways through which I will get rewarded will be by creating contents, I had doubts if I was ever going to do it. Contents? What kind of Contents? Where will I ever get them? How will I be able to write contents of not less than five hundred words for almost every day? Those were my worries.

However, as I finally made up my mind to join this platform, I have discovered that those things I feared I will not be able to do them were feasible. One of the greatest things that I have learnt on this platform is not to be wasteful. While I was complaining about where I will get the inspiration to write contents with the man who brought me here, I remember he told me that if I have been able to communicate with as many people as I know on daily basis, then, content creation will not be difficult for me because it is the same thing like having a reasonable conversation with someone.

So, instead of wasting my words, I’d rather convert them to contents for some rewards and also for my self-improvement. That was interesting to me. This has also affected other aspects of my life. I have become more concerned about managing the things I have and not allow them waste.

Hive has also taught me not only to be creative but also to make the best out of everything. Whatsoever I encounter on daily basis, including my meeting with people or interacting with them, my concern is how I am going to organize them and make them presentable, no matter how bad it was. When other people see a happenstance to laugh or mock at, I see content. I don’t look at things ordinarily no more.

Another aspect that I have seen the influence of Hive in my life is the way I write. Few years ago when I started writing contents on Hive, the contents I made were full of errors. Not only that, I did not know how I should be organizing my contents – arranging them in such a way that the reader will not get bored while going through them by making them catchy. But, as I look back today, there is a great improvement and I am hopeful that even though I have not reached my height as far as content creation is concerned, I will definitely get there in the subsequent years as long as I stay committed and focused.

Through the Hive platform, I have also learnt how to engage I a reasonable argument and see things from other people’s perspective without being abusive. There are times that we do not agree with other people’s opinion, but we still have to critically and constructively disagree with them anyway.

I believe that my subsequent years on hive will be better, while I will always remain opened to learning.
