What version do you use?

I'm running Brave v 1.85.120 and Hive Keychain 3.12.6 and everything seems fine.

Have you tried the nightly version of Brave? Perhaps they have already fixed this error. I saw that multiple reports had already been created.

At the moment it works again, will try later switching RPC nodes back to automatic.
