New inhabitant in my garden, Arrowhead Spider (Micrathena sagittata) [EN]//[ES]
This weekend was quiet at home. We took some time to rest, which was really needed, so I was able to spend a little extra time in the garden, where I found a new inhabitant, a tiny arrowhead spider (Micrathena sagittata). and when I say tiny, it's because I could barely see it and almost smashed my face into its web. This little creature, belonging to the Micrathena genus, definitely lives up to its name, given its tiny size. At first glance, I thought it was a tiger spider, as we've had them in our garden on several occasions, so I didn't pay much attention to it. However, when I saw it again the next day, I noticed its colors were different, and I couldn't help but notice its peculiar fangs (for lack of a better name).
Taking a photograph of what would be its upper part has been one of the most difficult tasks since I can remember doing this type of photography. The location where this little one is found does not allow me to do so, and well, she has no intention of moving, ha ha ha. I just hope she's not like the tiger spider, which, when it decides to mate, ends up leaving more than 400 offspring in the garden. Although I've only seen this little one, I can't say if she's the only one around.
With a distribution ranging from the United States to the tropical countries of South America, I had never seen it anywhere before, but the heat of recent weeks probably brought it to these latitudes. For now, I plan to leave it alone, because, like the tiger spider, this little one is a good hunter of some dangerous pests that harm my plants.

Este fin de semana estuvo tranquilo en casa, nos dedicamos a descansar un poco, ya era hora realmente, por lo que, pude dedicarle un ratito extra al jardín, y me encontré con una nueva habitante, una diminuta araña punta de flecha (Micrathena sagittata), y cuando digo diminuta, es porque apenas logre verla y por poco me estampo la cara en su telaraña, esta pequeñita perteneciente al género Micrathena, definitivamente le hace honor al género, por su diminuto tamaño. A primera vista pensé que se trataba de una araña tigre, ya las hemos tenido en varias ocasiones en nuestro jardín, y por ello, no le di mucha atención, sin embargo, cuando la vi nuevamente al día siguiente, me percaté de que sus colores son diferentes y me fue imposible dejar de notar sus peculiares cachos (por darle un nombre simple)
Hacer una fotografía por la que sería su parte superior, ha sido de las tareas más difíciles desde que tengo memoria, que hago este tipo de fotografías, la ubicación en donde se encuentra esta pequeña, no me lo permite y pues, ella no se piensa mudar de sitio jajaja, solo espero que no sea como la araña tigre, que cuando se le ocurre aparearse, termina dejando por el jardín más de 400 crías, aunque, solo he visto a esta pequeña, no sabría decir si es la única que hay por allí.
Con una distribución que va, desde, Estados unidos hasta los países tropicales de América del sur, no la había visto anteriormente en ningún lado, probablemente el calor de estas últimas semanas la trajo por estas latitudes. De momento la pienso dejar allí tranquila, pues al igual que la araña tigre, esta pequeña es buena cazadora de algunos animales que representan plagas peligrosas para mis plantas.
