Hive Power Up Day January 2026 - Starting the new Year with a 3k HP Milestone! [ENG/DE]

It's that time again: Today is the first of the month, in this case January 1st, and so today is the monthly Hive Power Up Day.

And with that, I wish you all a happy New Year! I hope you all had a good start and can take the positive things with you into the new year and leave the negative things behind in 2025.

Phew, what can I say? It was an eventful year for me on Hive. At the beginning and middle of the year, I set myself the goal of reaching $0.02 voting power. Thanks to my Hive Power, I achieved this goal time and again, but the Hive price repeatedly threw a spanner in the works, causing my voting power to fall again. A few days ago, I even reached the milestone of 3k Hive Power, but it still remains close to the voting power of $0.02. However, since I cannot influence the Hive price, I will not continue to focus on voting power in the future, but will simply try to steadily improve my Hive Power.

Nevertheless, last month I made the decision to end my Hive Power delegations in order to keep my voting power as high as possible. That means I am still convinced of the projects I delegated to, but I have to look out for myself here.

@splinterlands recently released a pretty cool update. You can now design your own avatar, which I think is quite nice, but it doesn't fundamentally change the game. Something slightly different here are the Exemplars, which are essentially cards of your own avatar that can be customized and even played in a few modes. It's a great idea, and I'm excited to see how the Exemplars develop.

Otherwise, I was busy watching the World Darts Championship in December. For me, it's just a little highlight every year, and in a few days, the winner will be decided. Of course, I also celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve, which means that at the end of the month, my activity on Hive was rather low, but I think that's manageable.

I'm not the type of person who makes New Year's resolutions. I don't need the turn of the year as an excuse for that. Nevertheless, the goal remains to slowly but steadily increase Hive Power and HBD Savings and, above all, to have fun on Hive. However, since I also have a lot to do in my private life, it's difficult to find the necessary time for Hive. This is also because other things are higher on my list of priorities. If the Hive price were to rise again, it could also lead to me spending more time on Hive. So let's hope for good times for the Hive coin and the Hive blockchain. 😊

For today's Hive Power Up Day, I can stake 20 Hive and convert it to Hive Power. This means my Hive Power continues to grow and now stands at around 3033 Hive Power. As usual, I have set the payout of rewards for this blog to 100% Hive Power to ensure further growth.

Es ist mal wieder soweit: Heute ist der erste eines Monats, in diesem Fall der 1. Januar, und damit findet heute der monatliche Hive Power Up Day statt.

Und damit wünsche ich euch erstmal ein frohes Neues Jahr! Ich hoffe ihr seid alle gut gestartet und könnt die positiven Dinge ins neue Jahr mitnehmen und die negativen Dinge in 2025 zurücklassen.

Puh, was soll ich sagen. Es war ein ereignisreiches Jahr für mich auf Hive. Anfang bzw. Mitte des Jahres habe ich mir das Ziel gesetzt 0,02$ Voting Power zu erreichen. Durch meine Hive Power habe ich das auch immer wieder erreicht, jedoch hat mir der Hive Preis wiederholt einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht, sodass meine Voting Power wieder gefallen ist. Vor wenigen Tagen haben ich sogar den Meilenstein von 3k eigener Hive Power erreicht, jedoch bleibt es trotzdem eng mit der Voting Power von 0,02$. Da ich den Hive Preis aber nicht beeinflussen kann, werde ich mich in Zukunft aber nicht weiter an der Voting Power aufhängen, sondern einfach versuchen meine Hive Power stetig zu verbessern.

Trotzdem habe ich im vergangenen Monat die Entscheidung getroffen meine Hive Power Delegations zu beenden, um meine Voting Power so hoch wie möglich zu halten. Das heißt ich bin von den Projekten an die ich delegiert habe weiter überzeugt, jedoch muss ich hier mal auf mich selbst achten.

@splinterlands hat zuletzt ein ziemlich cooles Update released. Und zwar kann man jetzt seinen eigenen Avatar gestalten, was ich ganz nett finde, aber das Spiel nicht grundlegend verändert. Etwas anders sind hier potentiell die Exemplars zu nennen, welches quasi eine Karte des eigenen Avatars ist, die angepasst und in ein paar Modi sogar gespielt werden kann. Eine tolle Idee und ich bin gespannt wie sich die Exemplars noch entwickeln.

Ansonsten war ich im Dezember viel damit beschäftigt die Darts-WM zu verfolgen. Für mich ist das einfach jedes Jahr ein kleines Highlight und in ein paar Tagen wird der Gewinner feststehen. Außerdem habe ich natürlich Weihnachten und Silvester gefeiert, das heißt zum Ende des Monats war meine Aktivität auf Hive eher etwas gering, aber ich denke das ist verkraftbar.

Ich bin nicht der Typ der sich für das neue Jahr irgendwelche Vorsätze vornimmt. Dafür brauche ich keinen Jahreswechsel als Anlass. Trotzdem bleibt das Ziel die Hive Power und die HBD Savings langsam aber stetig zu erhöhen und vor allem Spaß auf Hive zu haben. Da ich aber auch im privaten Bereich viel zu tun habe, ist es schwierig die nötige Zeit für Hive zu finden. Auch weil die Prioritäten auf anderen Dingen höher gewichtet sind. Wenn der Hive Preis wieder anziehen würde könnte es auch dazu führen, dass ich wieder mehr Zeit auf Hive verbringe. Lasst uns also auf gute Zeiten für den Hive-Coin und die Hive Blockchain hoffen. 😊

Für den heutigen Hive Power Up Day kann ich 20 Hive staken und somit zu Hive Power umwandeln. Damit wächst meine Hive Power weiter an und steht jetzt bei ungefähr 3033 Hive Power. Wie gewohnt habe ich die Auszahlung der Rewards bei diesem Blog auf 100% Hive Power eingestellt, um weiteres Wachstum sicherzustellen.
