Let's visit a Gallery Tunnel [Eng-Esp]📸🖼🖼🎴
Hello my dear friends, I greet you and hope that everything is going well in your lives and travels.
Today I would like to introduce you to an underground art gallery.
Yes friends, in the same style that exist in the capitals of the world, I had the pleasure of visiting it in recent days and I tell you the experience.
The city of Maiquetía in the state of La Guaira, there are many underground passages. These help people to cross the avenues so that their lives are not in danger.
I imagine that based on ideas from other spaces in the world, they took this tunnel to make an art gallery open to the public who would like to enjoy it.
There are two things I like to visit when I'm on a trip and that's their churches and somewhere that has art. So when I heard that this exhibition was there, I wrote it down in my list of places to visit.
Its external decoration was already a charm. It had a kind of artificial bush or grass on top of it, which made it very natural.

Hoy les quiero presentar una galería de arte subterranea.
Si amigos, al mismo estilo que existen en las capitales del mundo, tuve el placer de visitarla en días pasados y les cuento la experiencia.
La ciudad de Maiquetía en el estado La Guaira, existen muchos pasadizos subterráneos. Estos ayudan a cruzar a las personas en las avenidas y así sus vidas no corran peligro.
Imagino que basados en ideas de otros espacios en el mundo, tomaron este túnel para hacer una galería de arte abierta al público que quisiera disfrutar de ella.
Hay dos cosas que a mí me gusta visitar cuando estoy en un viaje y son sus iglesias y algún sitio que tenga arte. Así que cuando supe que allí estaba esa exposición, la anoté en mis sitios por visitar.
su decoración externa ya era un encanto. Tenía encima como especie de un arbusto o grama artificial que lo hacía muy natural.
Then, when you go down the stairs, they look very clean and the place has air conditioning. Who would believe that a tunnel would have air? Well this one does 🤣 It also has a guard because unfortunately, not everyone appreciates the good things and there may be people who want to damage the paintings or do the wrong thing. Yes, the bad guys are everywhere🚫.
Luego, al bajar las escaleras, se ven muy limpias y el sitio tiene aire acondicionado ¿Quién lo creería que un túnel tendría aire? Pues este si 🤣 También tiene un vigilante porque lamentablemente, no todos saben apreciar lo bueno y quizás existan personas que quieran dañar las pinturas o hacer lo indebido. Si, los malos estan en todos lados🚫.
As I once visited Botero's museum in Bogota, I was able to recognise some famous painters and styles, but to leave us speechless, better look at the excellent paintings I was able to capture:
Como yo estuve en una oportunidad en el museo de Botero en Bogotá, pude reconocer algunos estilos y pintores famosos, pero para dejarnos de palabras, mejor vean los excelentes cuadros que pude captar:
I want to tell you that I am an admirer of Frida and her life. I was delighted that there were several paintings and expressions of her image. This was the one that struck me the most because they put Frida with afro features, as our villages were populated with a mixture of Indians, blacks and whites (sorry for the distinction of races, but that's how history taught us).
What disappointed me was that there were other people there and they were asking who she was. They didn't recognise her 😔.
Quiero decirles que yo soy admiradora de Frida y su vida. Me encantó que allí hubiesen varios cuadros y expresiones de su imagen. Esta fue la que mas me impactó porque pusieron a Frida con facciones afro, como fueron poblados nuestros pueblos con una mezcla de indios, negros y blancos (perdón por la distinción de razas, pero así nos lo enseñó la historia). Lo que me decepcionó fue que estaban otras personas y pues, preguntaban quien era ella. No la reconocieron 😔.
The Mona Lisa, is one that could not be missing, but I don't know if it's that effort to make it different or always putting a unique style that damage the original. This one with light eyes and slightly different features, I hope you like it. This one was more recognizable.
La Mona Lisa, es una que no podía faltar, pero no sé si es ese empeño de hacerlo diferente o siempre colocándole un estilo único que dañan lo original. Esta de ojos claros y facciones un poco distintas, espero que les guste. Esta si era mas reconocida.
I liked this one of the tattoos because it's very realistic, it reminded me of my rocker days 🤘😊.

I think there were more than 100 paintings, or not exactly paintings, because I could notice that they were made or painted on the wall itself; I assume that because of what was said earlier about people damaging it. I think that if you like art, you can comment on more paintings than I recognised.
Creo que habían mas de 100 cuadros, o no precisamente cuadros, porque pude notar que estaban hechos o plasmados en la propia pared; asumo que por lo comentado anteriormente que las personas lo dañan. Creo que si le gusta el arte, pueden comentar mas cuadros de los que yo reconocí.
Another Frida! That's how I was discovering them 😊. Below was a Cruz-Diez style which is very famous in my country as the International Airport has a very big and famous work of this artist (+).
¡Otra Frida! Así las iba descubriendo 😊. Debajo estaba un estilo Cruz-Diez que es muy famoso en mi país ya que el Aeropuerto Internacional tiene una obra muy grande y famosa de este artista (+).
We also came across a beautiful Botero. That's why I mentioned him at the beginning, because otherwise I wouldn't have recognised him and I would have thought that.... I'd better not think anything he,he,he,he. Beautiful that painting.
También nos encontramos con un hermoso Botero. Por eso lo mencioné al inicio, porque sino no lo hubiese reconocido y hubiese pensado que... Mejor no pienso nada je,je,je. Hermosos ese cuadro.
I liked this painting because it tells the story of La Guaira in the last century. It was a productive port, its streets were made of stones and to connect the city they used a kind of railway that crossed the city and could move people from one place to another in a short time. At the end, in the background, you can see the city's emblematic castle, which I have yet to visit.
Este cuadro me gustó porque cuenta la historia de La Guaira en el siglo pasado. Era un puerto productivo, sus calles eran de piedras y para conectar la ciudad usaban una especie de ferrocarril que atravesaba la ciudad y podían trasladar a las personas de un sitio a otro en poco tiempo. Al final, al fondo, se ve el castillo emblemático de la ciudad que tengo pendiente por visitar.
A Romero Brito Do you know who he is? Surely you have a wallet or shirt with this style; he is Brazilian and I recognised him because my wallet is inspired by his work. Wonderful painting, I loved it.
Un Romero Brito ¿Saben quién es? Seguramente tendrán alguna cartera o camisa con este estilo; es de origen brasilero y lo reconocí porque mi billetera está inspirada en su obra. Maravilloso cuadro, me encantó.
