Patience is a strategy, not a quality.

The other day I read this quote and it made me reflect: "Patience is a strategy, not a quality." This is really very true, and as a mother of two young children, even though they're growing very quickly, I saw myself reflected in it.

I use patience as a strategy, since it can't be a quality in me, as I've always been very impatient. My maternal grandfather was a very patient and calm person; I've always been the opposite. So, they almost had to tie me up so I wouldn't do my thing.

But as a mother, I've had to learn to be patient, and I haven't really succeeded; I still get upset. But I have managed to make others not perceive it that way. That's because I've adopted patience as a strategy to ensure, in my case, that my children don't get upset and do what I want.
But a strategy can be used for multiple purposes, and the article I read was more geared toward the economic world. All the turbulence that is occurring requires a lot of patience, but that patience must be strategic to achieve the desired objectives.
