Utd Suck, Greenhouse Building Business Plans, Crafting, Fire, Grilling - Saturday

I spent my morning working on greenhouse data. @stryeyz asked in a couple local groups about interest in greenhouses and there are already near ten that have expressed interest. I had to build out my spreadsheet to see how many of each item I would need for various length greenhouses. I checked pricing online but that is not wholesale though it gave me a good starting place.

This is the main initial build-out of the data but I have to sit and do more detailed drawings of each size and ensure that my part counts are correct. I've figured labor hours for each size and I'm thinking 5 hours is about right for building a 12ftx8ft greenhouse and up to about 13 hours to build the 40ft, these hours are working alone.

The next thing I really want to do is source materials better. We are a business already so I will just need a couple additions to our license and it should be okay. So far I am looking at pricing from about $900 to about $2800 to build a greenhouse for a customer with little to no site prep required. I know what kits cost through places and this will be very competitive, especially installed pricing like this.

While I was working on my business plans @stryeyz and J were in the studio as she was making a bunch of bracelets for our friend for Christmas gifts.

The afternoon was spent working on my numbers more while the PDC matches were going. It took a while to get the boys to start on the potatoes but finally they managed to get them all cut up and ready. I had the fire going and was able to burn off some cardboard in the inferno.

I got the potatoes in the oven then went out and grilled our burgers for dinner.

A couple of people from my flying club are headed to Steptoe Butte so I decided I need to go. I pulled my paragliding wing and harness out and got things together. It's been a while since I flew last so I really need to get in the air before the end of the year.

Got a bit over a n hour soak in before we headed back inside and watched a couple episodes before bed.

I leave in a couple hours for Steptoe. It will be cold and the winds should be pretty on so I am going to be prepared, which reminds me I have to grab my ski goggles. It's an hour and half drive down and the winds will be peaking about the time I get there so the rest of the day will be mellowing. I will be home by dark most likely and then I will get the fire going and then grill again for dinner.
