Invasion, Bouldering Area, Climbing, Mowing, Darts, NHL, Nano - Wednesday
I was in the greenhouse yesterday morning when I saw something that turned my blood to a slight boil, on of the raspberries had shoved a tendril under the edge of the greenhouse and popped a tip up inside. I WILL NOT have them invading the greenhouse so I pulled it up quickly then went around to the outside where I found they had grown past my metal sheet I had buried so I have to figure out an extension to bury to ensure they don't continue to invade the greenhouse.
Around 11am I headed up to the bouldering area to keep cleaning up the climbs. I scrubbed the tops of a few of the boulders to make the top out a lot nicer and drier. I kicked the ant nest off the top as well as I don't feel like plopping my hand into them at the top of the 12 foot high boulder.
The wire brush is required to get the lichens of the rock and the various other growths. I went all along the 50 foot long traverse and cleaned up all the foot and hand holds.
After about an hour of scrubbing I put the brushes away, got my climbing shoes on, and then climbed 5 of my problems along with an out and back on the traverse.
I was home in time to see much of the RM Bayern match and I love to see Kane lose so it was great to see that RM ended up winning in the last few minutes. After picking the boys up from school I got the mower out and plowed through the various areas of grass. First was the path to the sheds and studio.
Then the inner yard which really needs to be all tilled and reseeded at some point soon.
Then I went through the boys' play area between the slack lines.
The last area was by the hot tub and then around the trampoline. I had to leave an area still growing below the trampoline since there are a ton of wild onions, strawberries, and flowers in bloom.
I spent a bit at the board mid afternoon, kinda a cool down after the mowing. Gradually my groupings are getting more consistent.
I also have my Nano working and am now able to fully self custody to hardware, feels good finally.
NHL playoffs are going and the games can be worth watching as they are a lot more violent than regular season games. I was SUPER happy to see Boston get their asses handed to them.
Headed out to soak and managed an hour finally.
Today will be warmer and sunny, I'll get the boys to and from school, maybe hit the bouldering area earlier as the PDC will be on mid day, I have more grass to cut but will need the weedeater for it, Saturday is for sure a flying day at Tekoa as the winds will be perfect, and then I will come up with something for dinner this evening.

I laughed. So the raspberries are an intruder in your greenhouse. 😅
Okay maybe I have learned a thing or two here but what I’m taking home with me is your dedication to your greenhouse and all that you have going there
Wow, as an environmentalist, that’s kind of like a little hug to my soul
