Chiro, Drives, New Tooth, Kraken, The Accidental Stabbing, Trailer, Temps, Rain - Monday
Yesterday morning I had my chiro appointment first and they are getting better with each visit, or more to the point I am getting better with each. The pain is going away gradually and the vertebra are not as pissed off as they were. The TMJ pain is lessening some now and I have pressure points and massages that I can do to alleviate it mostly.
It was a holiday so the library was closed which meant I didn't know where to kill an hour before my dentist appointment so I just drove back home and hung out for half an hour before driving back down to the dentist.
I got my new tooth installed and it matches the others nicely. It feels funny since it is all smooth and porcelain and noticeably different. All good though as now I can say my FFFFFFFFFs correctly.
I got home from the dentist in time to catch the Kraken game which went okay. They scored back and forth and ended up in OT but then blew it and lost 4-3. So close but at least they got a point out of it.
I was in the kitchen picking at the remnants of my steak from the night before when I heard R scream and go skating into the living room. He was screeching and then screamed for me. I met him at the dog's bed where he plopped down with this stuck THROUGH his finger. In one side out the other. The right bent side had punched right through his finger and he was freaking out big time. The paper clip slid right out of his finger since it was nice and smooth and clean, but then the blood leaked and he was crying big time from the pain. Poor little man was scared shitless.
I held a paper towel around his finger until the bleeding had subsided then I grabbed a butterfly bandaid and silver gel which I globbed on then wrapped the bandaid around. It took about an hour before he was back to his more normal personality and largely disregarding the bandaged finger as he went right back to his norm.
After the excitement I went out to hook the trailer up for the grain run I have already been on.
Stopping into the greenhouse on the way back to the house I was pleased to see the temp at 60F.
All the seedlings are looking good, I just want them to grow faster.
3pm the rain hit and lasted until after dark.
For the evening we watched the anime shows that were on Sunday while I got dinner ready.
Made it out to soak earlier than normal and got out earlier because of thermal creep which had the water at 104F which is not exactly long time soaking temp. All good as I had the grain run to do this morning.
It was raining for my trip to town but the roads were nice and mellow. Today I will empty the barrels after I get the boys to school but I will have to piece them out around the gardens, winter stuff can get put away now that it is the rain season, Soon I have to shovel to chicken coop out but am not sure I feel like it today... we will see.
