Bob Reynolds is an American jazz tenor saxophonist, composer and educator. Although he was born in Morristown (New Jersey), as a child he moved with his family to Jacksonville (Florida). He started playing saxophone at age thirteen, attended high school at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and then enrolled at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston mentored by saxophonist George Garzone, trombonist Hal Crook and others. In 2000 Reynolds debuted with The Bob Reynolds Quartet and later participated in Industry Rule (2001) and Beneath the Underdog (2003) by pop-soul and pop/rock vocalist, pianist and composer Jonah Smith.
