When the journey from Nadiad torie Vadodara became an expence : a confluence of ancient art and modern taste in Marriott's restaurant

Greetings of the day,

I hope my all hiver are good. In the morning when I left for Vadodara from Nadiad there were light clouds floating in the sky. There was a coolness in the air and the morning bustle on the streets was gradually increasing. There was only one thought in my mind – I needed a little change, a day of peace and some time with myself. So I decided that after reaching Vadodara today, I will stay at Courtyard by Marriott and spend my day peacefully.

The train moved slowly from Nadiad station, and the fields, trees and small villages passing by the window reminded the mind of an old song. On the way, some children were going to school, some people were busy working in their fields. The slow speed of the train, the cool breeze coming from the window and the golden rays of the sun – everything looked as beautiful as a picture.

When the train reached Vadodara after a journey of about an hour, the atmosphere of the city seemed completely different. There is an energy on the streets here was not too fast, not too slow. Sitting in the auto, I headed straight towards the hotel. On the way, areas like Lalita Tower, Alkapuri and Fateganj came up, and the city's identity was visible everywhere.

As soon as I reached Courtyard by Marriott, my heart felt a different peace. The entrance of the hotel was very beautiful – greenery in front and beautiful flowers and smiling welcoming staff. As soon as we entered the lobby the slight aroma of coffee and the soft tune of music calmed the mind. The hotel's interiors were modern yet very subdued wooden panels- golden lighting and natural light coming in from large glass curtains enlivened the entire ambiance.

As soon as we reached the room, the fatigue seemed to disappear in a moment. The soft bed, the fragrant atmosphere and the view of the city of Vadodara from the window – seeing all this made me realize that sometimes giving yourself rest is as important as working hard. I ordered tea and just sat quietly near the window. Below on the streets people were walking at their own pace, and I was lost in my thoughts.

In the evening I had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The atmosphere there was very beautiful – soft lights, soft music and the aroma of dishes. I had Gujarati thali along with soup and dessert. There was a delicacy in every taste and the behavior of the staff was so polite that I felt as if I was at home. While eating food, it came to my mind that such moments do not come again and again, where you live only for yourself.

After dinner I went for a walk in the small garden of the hotel. There was a slight coolness in the air and the stars were twinkling in the sky. The sounds of the city seemed far away, and all that was heard was my footsteps. I felt how peaceful the day was – without any rush, without any worries.

Returning to the room at night I looked at some of the photos I had taken during the day — the interior of the hotel, the brightly lit lobby area, and the sky seen from my room window. Each photo told a story of a journey, of an experience, and of a peace that is difficult to put into words.

Today taught me that the journey is not just about going far, sometimes it is also about coming back within. This short journey from Nadiad to Vadodara became a kind of enjoyable where the road taught me to stop, see and feel.
