Wednesday Walk Despite Experiencing the Tropical Cyclone/Hurricane
Yesterday, I shared here in my blog that we experienced a tropical cyclone with a local name Kristine. We had a suspension of classes, and I was not able to do my 10-minute walk. My husband and I thought that the classes would return to normal today.
But today, the cyclone is still in the area of responsibility and gaining more strength compared to yesterday, our local unit government still suspended the classes due to the cyclone and for the safety of the people living in a place that experienced the rain and winds brought by the cyclone. We experienced this rain and strong winds because our place is one of the paths of the cyclone.
It was expected that I could not manage my 10-minute walk today. Yet, despite experiencing the rain shower and strong winds brought by the cyclone, it was still manageable, and it was still fine to travel.
Even though the classes were suspended, the government offices in our place were still operating and as a couple whose travel is the interest, we decided to travel to downtown Cebu and claim his passport since the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) was opened even though we experienced the bad weather. We grab the opportunity because we don't need to take a leave of absence in our work station. This is one of the advantage of the type of work we have.
How did I manage my 10-minute walk?
Well, roaming inside the malls where the DFA is located is still counted as a walk and we also decided to visit SM Cebu City. We forgot to visit the supermarket store of the Robinson Galleria where the office for releasing is located and we need to buy something for my husband’s Kris Kringle activity on his workstation. Though I never experienced sweating at that time because of the air conditioner of the mall I think it is still counted.
Overall, I accomplished my 10-minute walk today. In conclusion, if there’s a will, there’s a way.
I hope the bad weather will stop. Keep safe everyone.

I hope you and your family are safe! Is it already stormy and rainy season in PH?
Thank you. 😊 The expected place of the landfall of the storm is now experiencing floods that can damage properties and life. As of now, the casualties are less, and hoping my fellowmen survived this typhoon.😊
stay safe
