Visiting Villahermosa, Tabuelan, Cebu Philippines

Good day, Hiveans! It’s been a while since I last posted a blog in this community. The reason why was I did not manage my time well. Blaming myself would not replace the idea that I failed to manage my time well but being able to recognize the cause and trying to correct it is the good thing to do in this situation, I think. Accepting your fault and trying to move on and avoid the same mistakes again is a maturity. Mature enough to believe that you are not perfect, and mistakes are part of the process of growing up. Anyway, I hope you were fine when I was away and better now while reading my blog.

I want to share what I did last Saturday, May 18. The date seems the best time for a wedding day, our church offers a free wedding ceremony to couples who have been together for five years and above. Many couples grab the opportunity and decide to join the free wedding activity.

I did not watch the ceremony because this day was the same date as my husband’s cousin's wedding. The place of the wedding was in Villahermosa. It is one of the barangays of Tabuelan. It is the hometown of my father-in-law. My husband has a lot of childhood memories of this place where he shared how his cousins play every time they meet in their grandparents’ house. The place was mountainous, and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the area. The good thing about the mountainous part of Tabuelan is that the road is cement and less damaged. The local government unit of the town focuses on creating a path to give the people easy access to the center of the town.

Attending a wedding is an opportunity to meet relatives whom you have not seen for a long time. It is a celebration of love and also a reunion of the relatives.
The wedding time was 10 am and we arrived at the place late. The ceremony already started. Their ceremony was different from ours for the reason our beliefs are different. Even though, we respect each other and wait for the ceremony ended to have a photo opportunity.
I did not ask permission to post photos of the people in the ceremony that’s why there are no photos about the wedding too.

Despite that, I want to show the amazing area of Villahermosa. The people here were lucky to have active officials as evident in their covered court. Near the covered court were the barangay hall, the church, and the health center. All these buildings are just 1 step away from each other. Simply put, the buildings were easy access to the people of Villahermosa. The elementary school was meters away from the covered court too. You will realize that the people here are very close and have camaraderie for the betterment of their barangay.

Villahermosa is a nature-friendly community. The place of the buildings is surrounded by flowers and ornamentals that give more beauty to the place.

Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post as a way of supporting and motivating me to write more. Thank you.

Villahermosa ma'am is far from the high way, it's a secluded place. Super bukid. Hehehe

Weddings are a good opportunity to have fun and explore :) Sounds like you had a wonderful time in your in-law's place. It's nice that the local government facilitated road improvements in the area.
