Tuburan 360 Adventure

Good day, Hiveans! I’m back again with another travel adventure. I hope you’re fine while reading my blog today. I want to include #weekendexperience by @galenkp since this travel happened on a weekend.

Aside from we wanted to have fresh air and get bored while staying at our house. one of the reasons that urged my husband and me to have a short trip was when there was a scheduled blackout in the area.

When we see an advanced scheduled blackout, my husband and I will plan a place to travel to escape the heat caused by scheduled blackouts.

Today, I’ll be sharing one of the short trips we had because of blackouts.

It happened when we saw on social media that there would be a scheduled whole-day blackout from morning to evening on Saturday. My husband asked me about a plan to do while waiting for the electricity to return and I answered that we would have a short trip.

I’ve been curious about the tourist spot in Tuburan, Cebu Philippines named Tuburan 360 because it was trending in social media. I wanted to visit the place, but we had no perseverance to do so. The good thing, there was a scheduled blackout, so it was a great chance to experience the trending Tuburan 360 adventure.

Saturday came, and we decided to travel late morning and plan to take our lunch to a place where there is a 7/11 convenience store. We made a stopover at Tabuelan, Cebu.

Our tour guide in the area was only the Google Maps. We used it while traveling, feeling confident we could reach the area without problems. As we reached the town of Tuburan, we got confused by Google Maps. So, we didn’t waste our time and effort, we asked the locals directly about the right path to Tuburan 360. The locals are friendly and didn’t hesitate to guide us in finding the right path to our desired destination.

Thanks to the locals, we find the starting point of Tuburan 360. Before we enter, we need to pay the environmental fee which is 20 pesos if I remember it right. It is less than one dollar. We started exploring the Tuburan 360 and from the starting point kilometers away. I was shocked also by how steep the path is. It made me nervous since my husband was still practicing driving a four-wheel vehicle. At that time, he was in three months of driving. It was still fresh and traveling the path of Tuburan 360 was a great assessment for him to test his driving skills. In addition, the vehicle was not new and the travel to Tuburan 360 was the best test for its endurance and reliability.

We realized that we were not into enjoyment while traveling to Tuburan 360, but it seems that we were taking an exam about the driving skills and capability of the vehicle.

We felt relaxed as we reached the top of the Tuburan 360. We thank God that we arrived safe and sound. We took pictures in the area and tried their product. It was pricey. It is also understandable since the café is far from the main road and at the top of the mountain. The expenses of reaching the place are expensive too.

My point of view Tuburan 360 is not meant by its 360 views, but the road to reach the area. It was a 360 path of the mountain. No matter how they convinced me to go back to the place, my husband and I would not try to risk it again. The driver should be an expert when traveling to Tuburan 360.

If you want an adventure, surely Tuburan 360 is a great place for that.😊

In the end, it was a great experience with learning attached.

What about you? What are your activities when there is a scheduled blackout?
Let me hear it by dropping comments.

Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.

If there's a blackout, I do my thing! Listen to my favorite songs while doing house stuff, jamming with my kids and cooking
