The Unplanned Meet-up with My Cousins (Part 1)

Good day, Hiveans! It’s better to use the resources available to us rather than search for resources that are hard to find. Things are already in your front, it’s your way to accept what’s given. I hope you’re fine while reading my today’s blog while using the resources in front of you.

Today I wanted to share the unexpected meet-up with my cousins. I divided it into two to make you intrigued while reading my blog.

It was Tuesday when my husband and I decided to travel to Cebu City to find clothes fit for the upcoming Saturday event. The wedding has a color motif. As we tried to find the color, we realized that the color that the bride chose was not easy to find in the malls near us. Going to the malls in the city would be the best choice for us.

We traveled at 8 am since our only focus was to buy clothes. We are not in a rush mood. As we traveled, we decided to take our lunch at SM City Cebu, unfortunately, he miscalculated the way and missed the right path for the parking space. I told him that we moved to the next mall called G mall. It’s a newly built mall in that area. We wanted to explore the place.

I think it’s a blessing in disguise that we missed SM City Cebu because after taking our lunch at the G mall, we proceeded to their department store, and we found what we wanted to buy. We forgot to take pictures because we were focused on observing and appreciating the place.

The next thing we did was to visit the Cathedral church to light a candlelight. This is our way to say Thank you to our Lord for the safe travel we had. As much as possible, we did a stopover of the church when we visited the city before we went home but it’s not always 100% because of some circumstances.

When we went to the parking lot, after lighting a candlelight, I saw my two cousins walking towards the entrance. It was unexpected because Tuesday was a workday for the company workers, and it never crossed my mind that they were available. They told me that they wanted to attend the mass, but I convinced them to have a short stroll in the place since it’s been so long since we had a get-together activity. They agreed with me because they already attended a funeral mass, and it was fine to stroll around.

The two cousins I unexpectedly met are the eldest cousins of all the cousins on my father’s side. my grandparents on my father's side had 9 children, my father is the youngest and the cousins I met were the daughters of the eldest sibling of my father. The age of the eldest cousin of mine is the same as my mother. I’m happy that we met last Tuesday.

If you want to know the places we visited, stay tuned and I will share it on part two of this blog.

Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.

I believe nothing goes as planned, but you just need to play your part and encourage cousins to feel welcome. And I love the way you and your cousins are very close, not all family’s are like this

There is nothing that values us more than family, family are friends who will never be separated.
