Our Journey on the Online Appointment for Application of Passport
The scheduled appointment that we had on the first Monday of September was our application for a passport.
Before I was single, I was envious of people having their passports. Since a passport is one of the valid IDs necessary in our country having one is a great use for me. Though I have no plan to travel abroad because of the budget having a passport that has a 10-year validity is great. Yet, I did not attempt to apply since I’m afraid that I cannot pass during the scanning process of my documents. My father made a mistake in my birth certificate, and I think it would be a hindrance in applying for a passport.
So, only when I am married will apply for a passport. I was very confident that I would not remain single even though I had no relationship at that time.
Now that I’m married, the plan of applying for a passport is always delayed. I was not yet confident about my document until my two friends, A and S motivated me to get a passport because they plan to travel abroad.
When A sent her picture of her passport in the Messenger App, I told my husband about it, and on the said date, we attempted to get an appointment online. At first, I thought that I would be the online one who wanted to have a passport, but my husband still has no passport and wanted to join my journey in getting a passport. As we checked online, the first Monday of September is available for an appointment and we were lucky since we don’t need to travel far to apply because DFA has a sub-office at SM Consolacion, Cebu.
We chose the nearest sub-office because it would be less hassle for us. The problem was when we proceeded to payment, there was no available payment online. The choices were over-the-counter or go to the nearest Bayad center. One of the choices was the 7/11 convenience store. We didn’t want to waste time so at that time, we traveled to Bogo City to pay for our online passport application. Since it was time for dinner, we decided to have dinner in the convenience store too.
The good thing was the machine that was used for online transactions in the convenience store was available. My husband was tasked to operate the machine for payment online. I’m not a techy person and I don’t trust myself when it comes to online transactions. When he was done processing his payment, my husband assisted me too. We successfully paid a fee for applying for a passport. We took our dinner and then traveled back to our place.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.

So next time if you had a business meeting and your husband is not there who will you pay it 😆. We must start embracing this modern style of transactions.
Congratulations on your passport now you are free to go every and any place you love
Find another husband.😄😄 We'll, I will have no choice when it comes.😊😊
Thank you for stopping by.😊
It is more convenient to apply for passport unlike the first I did way back 2015.
No online appointment so you need to go at nearest DFA at dawn 😆
Good plan that I did not attempt to apply during that year. 😁
Yeah, nowadays, it's stress-free po. Mabuti talaga at naisipan na nilang eh-adapt ang technology ngayon. Hahahaha
My application before was also online, but the validity was only 5years. That was 2017. 😬
Now.. 10 years ma'am.😄😄
Maybe 2018 they make the 10 years validity.
Siguro ma'am. But ngayon ko lang talaga naisip kumuha. 😄
At least makakuha na.
Malapit na ma'am. 😁
