Kapenarra with College Friends

Good day, Hiveans! I’m sharing another blog. hope while reading you’re in good condition and safe.

This is a long overdue post since it already happened last month and is a continuation of the visit of @freshness143 and her colleague.

I already shared in the previous blog, that if you have more time, you can check it here source that before we went to Sa Dagat Beach Camp, we first went to Daanbantayan, Cebu to meet other college friends.

We have two college friends who live in Daanbantayan, Cebu, and visiting them only happens once in a blue moon. The last visit was in 2019. It was when the christening of the eldest child of one of our college friends. Before the travel, we contacted A, one of our college friends that we would visit her. After the conversation, she told us that she would be the one to prepare our lunch tomorrow. We accepted the offer.

We took our lunch to the place of A, and while eating we had very long conversations. We shared the past and present happenings in our lives. We tried to contact another college friend, J who also lived in the area.

When J answered, she told us that she was not feeling well but since @freshness143 takes time to visit us, she would not like to miss the opportunity. She planned that we would have a dinner at the Bogo City. The idea was great since A wanted to explore Bogo City at night.

Late afternoon, we fetched our two college friends in their place and went directly to Bogo City. The vehicle was full of laughter because of the shared stories and past experiences we had together when we were still studying. In other words, we had our “MARITES” time inside the vehicle.

We had our dinner in one of the samgyupsal in Bogo City. Since we still had more time and lots of things to share, the stay in samgyupsal was not enough. The closing time was 8:30 pm. It was still too early to go home. J suggested extending our time at the Kapenarra Café. According to J the closing time of the Café is 10 pm.

I’ve seen posts on social media about the Kapenarra Café but have had no opportunity to visit the place. We agreed to have to explore the café. Our tour guide was J. We arrived at the area. The place is not noticeable because it is located in a secluded and a walking distance from the main road. We went to the café and were very thankful because it is still open.

The staff took our orders. I ordered their matcha and my husband ordered the cappuccino. I think, my husband was amazed by the art he captured before drinking it. Well, the taste of the matcha was delicious. It is matcha. Hahaha. I like to visit again since the products were worth their price.

We took photos before we sent off A and J to their house. We went home with a smile on our faces since we did so many activities that day and had an opportunity to share updates on our lives.

Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post to support and motivate me to write more. Thank you.
