The Sandbag House Reno Record - Re-screed and restoration of the stoeps part 3
This happened while I was at the market on Saturday morning. I - and anyone - could not walk on it until Monday.

Except, apparently, a bird...and my feline residents. And Mr Sparrow. The bird's footprints are just by the back door.
That did necessitate a bit of bundu-bashing to get in and out: I do not do well being trapped indoors! Especially when we have gloriously sunny autumn days!
The kitty prints, I discovered at the corner, at the front.

With this, the stoeps stop being in permanent trip-up mode. The bench project is paused. For the moment.
All that remains of this phase is the French/agricultural drain and slab on the south gable end of the house. This, hopefully, during the course of this week.
Then, floor, insulation and window for the new bedroom. That means breaking through upstairs. Then the stairs. Not sure about actually when.
Until next time

Looks like the birds and cat wanted to leave a permanent memory of their presence. Best of luck with the remainder of your renovations.
Thank you for the good wishes. Much appreciated.
Well, that makes it much more personalized, @fionasfavourites. Distinctive even, setting you apart. Hahaha ... 😉
Seriously, very nice view of your home.
I love the big porch surrounding your home. That must provide a very peaceful place to sit outside and enjoy the view of the great outdoors. Temperature permitting.
Secretly, I had been hoping for those stamps of approval! So I am rather glad...😂
So do I. It was one of the reasons we fell in love with it. You can sit on the stoep - during all seasons - on a different side - to be warm or cool down. We, now I, live mostly on the back stoep - the last bit to be completed.
Your house looks very nice bathed by the sun, good time to remodel it and that everything goes as you want. I see it even makes you happy to see the footprints of those visitors. A hug and happy week. 🤗🤩
Thanks so much, and good week to you, too!
