Getting my "Craft" back

In the pub, one evening, someone asked, "Who can crochet me a hot water bottle cover?"
Someone volunteered me.

Not one to pass up a challenge, this is the result.
The new owner says, "It's too pretty to put on my feet!"
Methinks I have a happy customer!
Oh, and after sharing another project on IG, a friend asked, "Are you now taking orders?"
And, "I have some wool, and I just cannot knit or crochet. Can you use it?"
My answer to the first was a vague, "No, but if you ask, I will..." and I happily accepted the wool.
She asked, so I made this pair of mittens (fingerless gloves) with some of that yarn (to be technical).

Her response:
"They are so cool!"
She donned them, the instant I handed them over the gate!
Next challenge? Said first happy customer asked if I could make a tea cosy. I tentatively accepted.
I swirled around the interweb and rejected everything it, and AI, spat at me and used my brain.
And there she is: a little tea cosy experiment.

Never to be replicated - in those colours, anyway - those were scraps. The next one will be much larger, so I will have to adjust the pattern and, I suspect, it will be in very different colours. Her new owner is delighted. Repeat customers - although that was never the plan - are always the best!
PS Crochet and knitting are, at the moment, a kind of meditation as I "live" through my longer than planned reno and the other crud that RL seems to be chucking at me right now. Call it sanity-preserving.
Until next time

This is really pretty crochet items
Thank you!
Those all turned out looking great, alas my aunt was the only one who did knitting, Mom did sewing, tentatively I did some sewing over the years.
Your hand turning back to crochet most definitely you have not lost the art or style to do different.
