Another night in life - with cats
When you live with cats - no, they don't live with you - it's a lesson in learning how much is impossible to control. With them and in life. Princess Pearli is a wanderer, but this week, the prodigal daughter, deigned to spend a night at home, arriving around midnight, amidst much growling and Gandalf's green irritation.
The Cats' Mother consequently had a bad night because the bed became the battleground for her body heat.

Come sunrise, both demanded breakfast. Not quite in bed, but both returned to the bedroom, and the Princess, after her bath and a bask in the rising sun, returned to bed.

Gandalf, unhappily, kept his distance before giving her a wide berth before taking refuge on The Cats' Mother.

Short of being on my face, he could not get closer!

Until next time

That is the truth. We have three dogs and three cats and there is a big difference between the two. The cats rule the roost. Everything in our house is on their terms.
Exactly!
That midnight return and the b;ed turning into a battleground for your body heat made me laugh and wince at the same time. Gandalf staking his claim on you, almost on your face, is classic cat tax law in action. The auditor in me approves :)
Some nights is just about surrendering and letting royalty rule the quilt. They always get there way after sunrise anyway.
That is exactly right. IRL!
Cat life is rihgt there with the laugh and the wince, the royal tax paid in blankets.
Glad it hits IRL.
I really really felt that chaos too :)
Do Pearli and Gandalf ever call a truce after breakfast, or dont they?
If you mean going their separate ways, then yes. Other than that, nope!
That's is both fun and in riot when the bed turned into a battleground for this cat's. Cat's are more territorial and more noisy in the night.
I hope you are fine, Fiona !!!
Something they make sure you understand 1 min after they put a paw at home 😹😹
I am ok. How are you, Eli?
Isn't that the truth!😹
I'm fine, Fiona! big hugs
