Sunsets of my city

I live in Barquisimeto-Venezuela, a city located in the center-west of the country. It is the capital of the state of Lara, a region with about 2.5 million inhabitants. Barquisimeto is a city 🏙️ that has become popular for several reasons, one of them is its sunsets.

Every sunset 🌇 in Barquisimeto is a work of art, the sky is painted in truly magical colors. Those who know me know that I love sunsets and whenever I can I stop to take pictures, no matter where I am. Although there are places where you can contemplate them in a better way, I think Barquisimeto is undoubtedly a city that every afternoon gives you a moment of contemplation, and although it can last a short time, there are sunsets that can be treasured for eternity.

Today I share only these two photos, they are the sunsets of the day before yesterday and yesterday, today I did not have the joy of contemplating the sunset. Personally sunsets have always given me a melancholic vibe and I think they make me feel nostalgic for no apparent reason.

I love sunsets because they seem to me the most poetic moment of the day, it is like the chronicle of a death foretold. And what is sunset on this side of the globe, in turn is birth, is dawn 🌅 on the other side.

Atardeceres de mi ciudad

Vivo en Barquisimeto-Venezuela una ciudad ubicada al centro-occidente del país. Es la capital del estado Lara, una región que tiene unos 2.5 millones de habitantes. Barquisimeto es una ciudad 🏙️ que se ha hecho popular por varias razones, una de ellas es sus crepúsculos.

Cada atardecer 🌇 en Barquisimeto es una obra de arte, el cielo se pinta de colores realmente mágicos. Quienes me conocen saben que amo los atardeceres y siempre que puedo me detengo a tomar fotos, no importa la ubicación en dónde esté. Aunque hay lugares donde se pueden contemplar de un mejor modo, creo que Barquisimeto es sin duda alguna una ciudad que cada tarde te obsequia un momento de contemplación, y aunque puede durar poco, hay atardeceres que se pueden atesorar una eternidad.

Hoy comparto solo estás dos fotos, son los atardeceres de anteayer y ayer, hoy no tuve la dicha de contemplar el ocaso. Personalmente los atardeceres siempre me han dado una vibra melancólica y pienso que me hacen sentir nostalgia sin razón aparente.

Amo los atardeceres porque me parecen el momento más poético del día, es como la crónica de una muerte anunciada. Y lo que es ocaso en este lado de globo, a su vez es nacimiento, es amanecer 🌅 al otro lado.
