La comunicación en la era de la Web3

Ayer tomaba algunas fotos en blanco y negro por el casco histórico de la ciudad donde vivo, y le tomé una foto a un teléfono público de la zona donde estaba tomando las fotos. Luego mientras conversaba con @zullyscott entre foto y foto, hablamos de lo asombroso que es que aun hayan teléfonos públicos a pesar que las comunicaciones han evolucionado tanto a lo largo de la historia, y aun más en estas ultimas décadas.

Así que se me ocurrió intentar hacer una especie de perspectiva crítica desde la filosofía en torno al fenómeno de la comunicación. No es un secreto que la comunicación es la savia que nutre las relaciones humanas, es una especie de gran tejido que conecta a las personas. A lo largo de la historia ha evolucionado la manera en la cual nos comunicamos, y la tecnología tiene todo que ver con ello, ya que las herramientas nos permiten innovar, en esa búsqueda de comunicarnos mejor. Hoy hablamos de blockchain y como su surgimiento esta promoviendo un nuevo paradigma digital, esto asoma sin duda alguna un nuevo modo de interactuar.

¿Estamos frente a una revolución de la comunicación?

Como entusiasta de la web3 y amante de la filosofía me siento comprometido en intentar hacer un análisis critico en torno a la comunicación en esta era de la web3. Ya que estamos sin duda alguna frente a un nuevo capitulo en la comunicación.

Creo que ante todo, debemos pensar y remitirnos a los fundamentos de la web3, y estos son la descentralización, la transparencia y la interoperabilidad. Quizá lo primero que podemos pensar es que la comunicación se libera de estructuras centralizadas y se abre paso a la democratización, permitiendo ser más directa y fluida.

Esto me hace pensar en como cada uno de estos pilares puede influir en la manera en la cual nos comunicamos. En torno a la descentralización, podemos pensar en una comunicación más distribuida de manera técnica, permitiendo una resistencia a la censura, también aumenta la seguridad. Hoy en día muchas de las aplicaciones por donde nos comunicamos virtualmente controlan la información, y la han convertido en un token, estamos frente a la economía de la data, es por ello que web3 defiende la transparencia, ya que todo es verificable y demostrable públicamente, haciendo que se reestablezca la confianza que se había perdido en el ámbito digita.

Con respecto a la interoperabilidad entre plataformas creo que nos permitirá tener mejor una experiencia, una dinamica mas fluida y sin restricciones, fronteras o bloqueos. Web3 devuelve el control total a las personas, es decir, esta en nuestras manos elegir como y con quien compartir mis datos.

Esto suena bastante utopico, pero, es algo que ta esta siendo experimentado en tiempo real. Por ejemplo, acá en la blockchain de Hive se han dado enormes pasos en estos tres ámbitos que he mencionado.

Comunicarnos libremente, sin censura es algo realmente positivo ya que nos permite a nivel comunicativo poder construir relaciones realmente autenticas. ¿Haz pensado a qué velocidad se mueve el lenguaje? Creo que no nos equivocamos en afirmar que el lenguaje se mueve a la velocidad en la que se mueve la información, es decir, hoy en día a la velocidad de la luz, es por ello que la web3 no solo propone una revolución de la comunicación, sino que al descentralizar el acceso a la información, promueve que el conocimiento sea libre.

La comunicación tiene demasiados tentáculos, a nivel empresarial es menester resaltar que en el ecosistema de web3 nacen nuevos horizontes de posibilidades, brindando nuevas formas de generar modelos de negocio innovadores. Pero, no todo siempre es color de rosas, y el mismo cambio que parece traer cosas fabulosas, nos pone en frente desafíos, retos y nos invita repensar los procesos.

Hay una brecha digital, algo que se requiere es desarrollar habilidades y conocimientos para aprovechar al máximo la web3, y aun hay personas que ni se han enterado que algo como web3 exista, ni siquiera distinguen web1, 2 o 3.

Alfabetización digital: Se requiere desarrollar habilidades y conocimientos para navegar y aprovechar al máximo las posibilidades de la Web3, que sabemos bien es un mundo de posibilidades para la comunicación, y debemos reflexionar sobre las implicaciones que pueden generarse a la hora de implantar un nuevo sistema.

Es por ello que siento oportuno hoy mas que nunca fomentar y promover una cultura de dialogo abierto, respetuoso, donde además de respetar la diversidad de opiniones. El dialogo es sin lugar a dudas uno de los recursos comunicativos por excelencia, y si queremos aprovechar al máximo todo, debemos comprender como funciona.

La comunicación en esencia, no cambia, pero si cambia donde y como se mueve, blockchain ha permitido el surgimiento de la web3 y sus valores, permitiendo un terreno fértil para cambiar el modo en el que se da la comunicación.

Personalmente, estoy realmente enfocado en dos proyectos que sé pueden aportar demasiado en este asunto de instaurar un nuevo modo de comunicarnos y manejar la información. Uno de ellos es este proyecto comunitario que lleva por nombre Humanitas, que intenta promover todo lo relacionado con las humanidades en un entorno de web3.

La comunicación en la era de la web3 debe pensarse desde los pilares de la blockchain, los seres humanos nos adaptamos a los cambios, y el como nos comunicamos forma parte de esas cosas que cambian, ya que lo que siempre permanecerá es que la necesidad de comunicarnos.

Communication in the Web3 era

Today we talk about blockchain and how its emergence is promoting a new digital paradigm, this undoubtedly looms a new way of interacting.

Are we facing a communication revolution?

As a web3 enthusiast and philosophy lover I feel committed to try to make a critical analysis about communication in this web3 era. Since we are undoubtedly facing a new chapter in communication.

I think that first of all, we must think and refer to the foundations of web3, and these are decentralization, transparency and interoperability. Perhaps the first thing we can think of is that communication is freed from centralized structures and opens the way to democratization, allowing it to be more direct and fluid.

This makes me think about how each of these pillars can influence the way we communicate. In terms of decentralization, we can think of a more distributed communication in a technical way, allowing a resistance to censorship, it also increases security. Today many of the applications through which we communicate virtually control the information, and have turned it into a token, we are facing the data economy, which is why web3 defends transparency, since everything is publicly verifiable and demonstrable, reestablishing the trust that had been lost in the digital environment.

Regarding interoperability between platforms, I think it will allow us to have a better experience, a more fluid dynamic and without restrictions, borders or blockades. Web3 gives total control back to the people, that is, it is in our hands to choose how and with whom to share my data.

This sounds quite utopian, but it is something that is being experienced in real time. For example, here in the Hive blockchain, huge steps have been taken in these three areas I have mentioned.

Communicating freely, without censorship is something really positive because it allows us at a communicative level to build really authentic relationships. Have you ever thought about how fast language moves? I think we are right in saying that language moves at the speed at which information moves, that is, today at the speed of light, which is why web3 not only proposes a revolution in communication, but by decentralizing access to information, it promotes free knowledge.

Communication has too many tentacles, at a business level it is necessary to highlight that in the web3 ecosystem new horizons of possibilities are born, providing new ways to generate innovative business models. But, not everything is always rosy, and the same change that seems to bring fabulous things, puts us in front of challenges, challenges and invites us to rethink the processes.

There is a digital divide, something that is required is to develop skills and knowledge to take full advantage of web3, and there are still people who have not even heard that something like web3 exists, they do not even distinguish web1, 2 or 3.

Digital literacy: It is required to develop skills and knowledge to navigate and take full advantage of the possibilities of Web3, which we know well is a world of possibilities for communication, and we must reflect on the implications that can be generated when implementing a new system.

That is why I feel it is more opportune than ever to encourage and promote a culture of open and respectful dialogue, where, in addition to respecting the diversity of opinions. Dialogue is undoubtedly one of the communicative resources par excellence, and if we want to make the most of everything, we must understand how it works.

Communication in essence, does not change, but it does change where and how it moves, blockchain has allowed the emergence of the web3 and its values, allowing fertile ground to change the way communication happens.

Personally, I am really focused on two projects that I know can contribute a lot in this matter of establishing a new way of communicating and managing information. One of them is this community project called Humanitas, which tries to promote everything related to the humanities in a web3 environment.

Communication in the web3 era must be thought from the pillars of the blockchain, human beings adapt to changes, and how we communicate is part of those things that change, since what will always remain is that the need to communicate.
