Although late I started with the habit of reading, I think I have created an attachment for books or rather, everything they can contain. For years I have been acquiring books, many I have bought, others have been gifts and although it sounds a bit far-fetched some I have found on the street. For example, the 12 tones of Universal history that at some point the editorial of the newspaper "El Nacional" public I found them in a box 📦 in the trash (they were brand new).

How could anyone throw away such a treasure?

Although I am not attached to books, I have given away many, there are some that have an emotional value. For example, the trilingual edition (Spanish, Latin and Greek) of Aristotle's Metaphysics, which beyond being a classic of philosophy, evokes my dithyrambs in the halls of the university. Also, it makes my soul to have a reminiscence about the classes of Ancient Philosophy.

I enjoyed taking the text and rereading some ancient Greek, although I have lost a lot of vocabulary I liked the exercise.

On my last birthday I received a precious gift, an amigurumi of Nietzsche, one of my favorite philosophical authors and I liked to place the little stuffed animal 🧸 next to my Nietzsche texts.
I think books are my safe place because they allow me to explore ideas 💡 also to change perspectives, they allow me to get to know myself as it is like dialoguing with hundreds of people who live in the same place.

📚 Libros, mi lugar seguro.

Aunque tarde comencé con el hábito de la lectura, creo que he creado un apego por los libros o mejor dicho, todo lo que pueden contener. Durante años he venido adquiriendo libros, muchos los he comprado, otros han sido regalos y aunque suene algo descabellado algunos me los he encontrado en la calle. Por ejemplo, los 12 tonos de historia Universal que en algún momento la editorial del diario "El Nacional" público me los encontré en una caja 📦 en la basura (estaban totalmente nuevos).

¿Cómo alguien podría echar a la basura semejante tesoro?

Aunque no soy apegado a los libros, he obsequiado muchos, hay algunos que tienen un valor emocional. Por ejemplo, la edición trilingüe (español, latín y griego) de la Metafísica de Aristóteles, qué más allá de ser un clásico de la filosofía, evoca mis ditirambos en los pasillos de la universidad. También, hace que mi alma cobre esbozos de una reminiscencia en torno a las clases de Filosofía antigua.

Me gustó tomar el texto y volver a leer un poco de griego antiguo, aunque he perdido mucho vocabulario me ha gustado el ejercicio.

En mi cumpleaños pasado recibí un precioso obsequio, un amigurumi de Nietzsche, de mis autores filosóficos favoritos y me gustó colocar al pequeño peluche 🧸 junto a mis textos de Nietzsche.
Creo que los libros son mi lugar seguro porque me permiten explorar ideas 💡 también cambiar perspectivas, me permiten conocerme ya que es como dialogar con cientos de personas que vivieron otros tiempos.
