Wanting and deserving.

"Not everyone who works hard is rewarded. But! All those who succeed have worked hard!"

You may have noticed that I didn't do my usual paint stick figure thing as my cover for this post. Instead of that I spent a bit more time and used a more professional program- Clip studio paint. Why I did this? Because I want to earn more from my post. I know that no one is gonna give me a mountain of HP, yacht or hot girls just because I want that. Wanting something is nice and all but just wanting something doesn't mean that we deserve what we want. Because the worth of our work is often decided by those who pay us for that work. If wanting something would be enough I could just sell each my art piece for millions. But that is just not how this world works. There is something I want more than the things I mentioned before- I want to be really great at what I do(making manga and art). But that is also not gonna happen just by wanting it. The authors of great manga like Oda and Kentaro Miura started making manga at the ages of 17 and 10(?!). They were not only beyond talented but also worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices to achieve that level of greatness in their art and eventually admiration by the whole world. I am already 33 years old and been making manga for only a month +. Also I am nowhere near as talented as they were. So I don't think that I have any chance of catching up to those geniuses. But if I work really hard maybe I can reach 0.00001 percent of the level of Miura art. I want people to see my work as valuable. I want to earn something. I want more than I have now. But if I don't have more perhaps that means that I still don't deserve it enough. At the same time I am an optimist so I believe that I will achieve and win what I want in life. So for me success is only a matter of time.

This prayer has a lot of truth in it that very few can actually see.

The image reminds me of naïf art or even of certain expressions of indigenous art that we have in my country, Venezuela.

Talent is unique, not everyone can have it, look at soccer too, only few bug talents yet there are still good players, so even if you don't have talent, you can still reach a good level by practicing!

Your first statement is just so true, that's how the world is but I believe with consistency and dedication one day the universe will reward you for all your efforts

A big part of success is luck too. I have researched this, the most successful had a lucky scenario or they meet a person at the right time that opens doors.

Nowadays, people don't want to work hard, they work smart to reduce the effort but get maximum profit.

I think that I am already working smart by blogging on Hive. Still I feel that I need to work hard as well.

There is no alternative to hard work brother. Even if you are smart, you have to work hard to be successful in life. I was trying to say, if you do hard work smartly, your work will be done in less time and effort.
