The great temptations.
My favorite basketball team remains in 1 place of euroleague. They have 7 wins and 2 loses so far. That is crazy great start. Also they already won 4 games in a row. Only Belgrado Crvena Zvezda team has won more games in a row(7). So far this season is very promising. One of our main playmakers is injured right now but we are still winning despite that. Of course Euroleague is very difficult and unpredictable competition. After a few more games our situation could easily change for worse. Right now we are number 1. But if team will be not careful and think too good about themselves this promising start can become a tragedy. Still at the moment I this great start is giving me a few temptations. I may go to watch a game live in december. I have not went to their home games in years. I got used to watching games on TV. But I miss the atmosphere in home Arena. I miss the feeling of being a ocean of green white fans supporting our team. Another temptation I have is doing something I have never done...sports betting. Right now if I would bet 110 eur that my favorite team will become champions of euroleague I could win 3267 eur... Insane amount. That is basically the same as the value of my blog now(after blogging it since 2017.) So if I would win this one bet I could greatly increase my HP/HBD account. But there are few problems and risks. Even 110 eur for me is not small amount of money. Also I fear that if will make a bet I would jinx my team and they would start losing. My luck sucks so if I would make a bet I think that my bad luck would also attack my favorite team. Another problem is that 1 spot in regular season seems to be cursed( I don't recall a team who was in first spot at the end of regular season winning the Euroleague...)😛 Also right now I want to save money for a real camera. And if I would spend money on sports betting I would have to wait really long before I could buy that camera. My last and final temptation is to make a petition asking our best player Sylvain Francisco to stay in our team. He is a true basketball gem and keeping him next season will be very challenging.

I'm a bit confused I thought the team with 7 wins should be topping the table. Anyway, I hope your favourite team keeps up the good performance and remains on top till the season's end.
From what I remember before the season I predicted that they will finish in 4 place. So so far they have far surpassed my expectations.
The excitement for the team really comes through. I totally get the temptation to watch live games and try some betting, but yeah, the season can be full of surprises. Hope the star player stays and keeps the momentum going.
Yes I think that we have to keep the star player. Not only he is awesome but keeping key players separates solid/ great teams from the average/below average teams. I believe that my favorite team has grown enough that it can offer Sylvain Francisco a contract comparable to what he would get from top teams + the leader/ face of the team role that he may not have in those teams.

Forgive my ignorance, but this league includes all of Europe?
Euroleague is the strongest international basketball league in Europe. It has teams from Spain, France, Serbia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Israel and United Arab Emirates.
