In this video I show my newest pyrography art piece: ,,The Journey of life''. It shows a ship sailing away from the world of the living to the beyond. 50cm x 76 cm, pyrography, acrylic paints and colored pencils. 2024.

I burned the image on wood.

I colored the background with acrylic paints.

I colored the frames with acrylic paints. I also colored the world and the ship with colored pencils.

Sorry to ask
I noticed that you colored some places before you colored some other places. Is there usually a place to start coloring?

In my recent works I normally start by coloring places that I intend to color with paints and leave places that I plan to color with pencils for later. but in reality I don't think that it matters.
