I want to grow.

I know that it is wrong year but still: happy 2024 everyone!

If I am not mistaken today is my Hive birthday and the year is ending. So I thought that now would be a good time to look both to the past and the future.

All in all 2023 was a very good year for me. My realistic goal was to have 8000 HP by the end of the year. But my results surpassed those expectations. A few days are still remaining in the 2023 and I already have 8672 HP. So I am gonna use this opportunity to thank everyone who helped me reach this point.

Now it is time to look into the future. My goal for 2024 is to have 10000 HP by the end of year. Some of you might think that this is strange. I say that I want to grow but at the same time I am currently powering down. But I think that there is no contradiction. I want to grow my splinterlands collection as well and intend to buy a few powerful cards. That is why I am currently powering down for the first time in a long time.

As for the content in 2024 I want to continue Let's playing my favorite game of all time- Witcher 3 as well as sharing interesting splinterlands battles. Speaking about interesting battles I would like to share this one. I hope to shitpost less in 2024. In a few days I will reach official achievement of posting every day of year ( in reality I was already posting daily before yearly challenge even existed). In the future I will try to keep posting daily. But I hope that instead of shitposting I will be able to take a day or few off.

I also hope to gamble less and perhaps stop entirely in 2024. I have no idea how much Hive I have lost playing Dice or blackjack. But it definitely was far too much. Those games are really fun while you succeed at winning. I get a rush of adrenaline while playing. But ultimately I lose far more than I win. The worst thing about gambling is that it defies logic. I have seen the dice rolling below/ above 50 maybe 8 times in a row. Those streak are completely unpredictable and ruins any ,,strategy'' I might have. They are the worst. Another problem with gambling is that is really hard to stop while you are still in the lead/ lucky. The dice is like a black hole that sucks Hive in and rarely spits any out. Recently I was able to turn(9?) Hive into a few hundreds hive and after that bought a few copies of HYDRA in splinterlands. But that happens rarely. So I am better of playing splinterlands. potential profits are perhaps smaller but loses are smaller as well.

But enough of my rambling. Again happy 2024 everyone! Let's hope that it will be a Bull year for all of us...
