Fiery plays The Witcher 3 part 90: Meeting the Duchess and getting our own home.

Last time we met with two knights from Toussaint who invited us to meet their Duchess Anna Henrietta who wants to offer us a great contract to kill a Beast who is killing people from Toussaint and seemingly wealds black magic. We helped the knights to defend a village from bandit attack and then traveled together to Toussaint to slay the Beast. Along the way we met another young knight who was battling a monster.

This time we went with one knight to investigate a place where the newest victim of the Beast was found. There we did not find the body but in the water we found a handkerchief with the initials of the victim. It turned out to be an old friend of the knight who led us there. After that we went to an inn nearby and questioned the fisher who found the body. He did not know much but he did tell us that the victim's body was taken to a nearby vineyard of Corvo Bianco. Fisher also told us a peasants belief that the Beast is divine retribution for abandoning sacred virtues. During our conversation a strange woman left the inn- despite our supernatural senses we had no idea when she appeared there. After that we played Gwent with innkeeper. This was interesting match because our opponent played with Skellige deck that we had never seen before.

After that we went to the vineyard of Corvo Bianco to investigate a victim's corpse. There we saw some dead guards. The clues led us to the basement. There we saw a woman from before. She was carrying a cut off hand. Also she was a Bruxa(a vampire). She did not want to let us leave. So we slayed her and then investigated the corpse of the Beast last victim. He had a coin pouch in his throat. Also the hand that Bruxa came for did not belong to this victim. More importantly that severed hand was still moving on its own. Our investigation showed that the man was killed by something with sharp claws but not Bruxa.

After that we went to the Tournament grounds and saw that people were chaining a monster called Shaelmaar. this monster had to fight a young knight who we saved in the last part. The battle started with everyone cheering for a knight. But he was very young and had no skills or experience. So this monster was about to destroy him as well. Perhaps he should just leave this monster fighting thing to a professional... Anyway we saved his sorry ass again and killed the Shaelmaar(it suffered enough already.) Duchess was impressed with our performance and came to great us.

After talking with the Duchess and her guards captain Damien we started believing in peasants theory that The Beast is killing old knights who abandoned virtues. Also all the victims were good friends with Milton(one of the knights who invited us here). He was also an older knight and had to dress up as bunny for some upcoming ceremony. So we suspected that he will the next target of the Beast. The Duchess promised us a big bounty for killing the Beast. And for now she gave us the vineyard of Corvo Bianco. We accepted this contract on the Beast head. After that we rode with the Duchess to look for knight Milton.
