Fiery plays Divinity Original Sin 2 blind part 1: The escape.
Yesterday we finished mass effect trilogy. And today we are starting a new adventure. This time we are playing Divinity Original Sin 2 Blind. I have completed DOS 1 on my own. But DOS 2 I only played for about an hour in the past. So I believe that all future parts will be completely blind experience for me. Also if I am not mistaken this is the newest game I have ever played. I know that it is already nearly a decade old but still...new to me. As you can see I decided to play as undead wizard. This will mean that we will have to wear a mask of a mortal or else we will be often attacked on sight. Also healing items and spells will do as damage while poison will heal us(?). On the positive side we will be able to unlock some doors with our finger bone.
This game started with us being captives on some ship sailing to Fort Joy. Our captors called the magisters put some collars on our neck. I believe that those collars were suppose to limit our powers because one magister taunted us to try to use our powers. Of course our character did not fall for that. After that the magister Siwan sent us to go and see another magister. Along the way there we found out that someone was killed on the ship. We were tasked to bring any evidence we will find to the woman investigating the murder. After that we spoke with a few more interesting people. Like the Red prince- a lizard/reptile thing who thought about giving us the honor of being his slave. He took back this generous offer after finding out that we don't have abilities and skills he was looking for. We also met with a...dwarf sailor captain. Who was very exited about something. Also his name was Beast. After that we saw a few magisters who were trying to contain a powerful witch. She laughed to their faces. Then casted something that looked like a mini armageddon(explosions, flames...). We lost consciousness. Once we woke up most of the magisters were dead, other prisoners still unconscious. The witch was gone and she took our human mask so now almost everyone sees as an enemy and attacks us on sight. Also...her magic summoned/ attracted some monsters who were laying waste to the ship. We managed to escape on a boat and landed on the shore in some unknown land. I don't remember much from Divinity original sin 1 but this sequel looks like a great and fun game so far.

word. I was thinking about giving this one another try when I got tired of season 9 of Diablo 4. My buddy insists it is the greatest game ever made and I tried it once before but didn't really mesh with it.
For me Witcher 3 is the best game ever made. I thought about playing either this or Baldur's Gate 3. I have both of them but in the end I chose DOS2 because it needs less space. Have you played DOS 1? I only remember that I liked combat in it.
I never played DOS1 but there were some games I played on PC in the late 90's and early 2000's that I believe were inspirations for its gameplay that I enjoyed quite a bit at the time. They were tough because death was permanent for your characters though.
I don't think that I could enjoy that.
I have never heard of this game, it seems a sort of Diablo or wow, doesn't it?
I don't remember much about Diablo and I have not played wow. This game has a turn based combat.
Oh turn, then no not like those
An epic new series begins

That intro was interesting. From a prisoner on a ship to escaping a burning wreck surrounded by monsters, it was really dangerous. Let's see whats about to happen next.
Yes it was a good start to a game.
