Fiery plays Baldur's Gate 3 part 12: Defying the Queen.

Last time we met a merchant who asked us to steal Githyanki(Lae'zel race) egg. After that we took a elevator and arrived to a creche(a fortified place there Githyanki Lae'zel race rise their kids). There we saw Githyanki inquisitor who was in charge arguing with his second in command commander Therezzyn. inquisitor left the room and we killed commander Therezzyn.

This time we found the inquisitor again. The sneaky bastard was cheating- we were not allowed to rest and heal after our previous fight with commander Therezzyn. This complicated things for us. Inquisitor wanted the weapon we got from Shadowheart. In our mind we heard the voice of the strange being from our dreams. It insisted that we should not give away that thing because that weapon is how dream being protects us from turning to a mind flayer. Lae'zel demanded that we do as the inquisitor says and give him the weapon. Otherwise Lae'zel claimed that she will kill us herself. I do believe that she could have turned on us at this point. But we managed to use our silver tongue to calm her down and persuaded Lae'zel to side with us against her own people and the inquisitor.

We slew inquisitor and his thugs. At first I thought that this would be all for this place. But then projection of Githyanki queen Vlaakith appeared. She offered Lae'zel glory and her favor if we will give away the weapon. The foolish queen also dared to threaten us if we will leave the room without giving her the weapon. At this point you should be quite familiar with the way our character Griffith acts. He doesn't see anyone or anything as his equal...let alone his superior. So we decided to defy queen Vlaakith. If she wants to kill us for that she is free to try. Another reason why we did this is because Griffith sees everyone as his pawns. And he wants to be only master of those pawns. So for his goals it seemed better to pit Lae'zel and her queen against each other.By remaining at our side despite her personal desires to obey Vlaakith Lae'zel proved that she is loyal to Griffith...for now at leat. So Lae'zel is an useful tool. Besides opposing the queen seems like the choice that could lead into more fights and thus give us more expierence. After defying the queen's orders we were finally able to rest at the camp. There we saw an animal we saved in the past- Owlbear cub. Then we found a painting of Vlaakith. To add an insult to injury we...decorated the painting.
Haha nice decoration, lazael seems loyal for now
I agree. I believe that we improved the painting of the queen.
