LPUD 2024: I am on a Mission

The year 2024 has started ticking already, and the first #LPUD in the Inleo community for the year happenedyesterday. The community was hyped about the first LPUD for the year, with many powering up huge numbers of Leo tokens for the event. I have been taking part in the LPUD event for nearly 6 to 7 months now, albeit with the goal to get recognition and win some upvotes on my post. Although getting recognition and upvotes is part of the benefits of taking part in the LPUD event, my goal for this year has changed. I am on a mission to achieve the Lion status with every opportunity I get to power up Leo tokens this year.

Everyone knows what the Lion rank mean in the Inleo community, the benefits and perks attached to the rank are something everyone would like to get. With my current LP which is not even up to 1k, the goal to achieve 15k LP to get the Lion status looks like a pipe dream. However, I am determined to give it a shot with all I can. After all, there is no wrong in trying. Nonetheless, I have set up a plan I hope to follow, and if everything goes right, I could become a Lion even before the year ends.

Laughable right? Don't be! It's my mission on Hive this year, nothing else matters to me than achieving this goal.

How I planned to achieve the Lion status this year

If you look at my Leo power right now, I am only sitting on 837 LP. First, we have to deduct that from 15k to know how much Leo tokens we are looking for to reach our goal. When we do that we have: 15,000 - 837 = 14,063 Leo tokens.
Dividing the result by 50, which is the total number of weeks remaining in the year, we will get: 14,063 ÷ 50 = 281.26 Leo tokens.
281.26 Leo tokens we will need to power up every week for us to reach the 15k LP by the end of the year.

Let's assume I can earn a minimum of 50 Leo tokens every week from all my activities in the community. That leaves us with 231.26 Leo tokens still out of reach.

How can we get those figures?

The plan is to consistently buying Leo tokens every week with every single cent of HBD rewards I get on Hive. This plan depends on how much I can earn, which exclusively rests on the community moderators, if they will support my work. We have successfully started with this plan and have bought Leo tokens with the HBD rewards we got for the first two weeks of the year, and power them all up on thi's LPUD.

Moreover, I also plan on bringing in fresh funds for this mission as time goes by. By all means I hope to make the dream come true by the end of the year. My dream of growing on Hive is tied to the Inleo community, and I hope I can get the needed support to thrive in the community.

On the first LPUD for the year

Our first LPUD for the year was successful. We started preparing for it right from the first day of the month with our new year resolution in mind. We successfully bought Leo tokens every weekend for the two weeks that have passed. In total we powered up 171.39 Leo tokens. Not bad for the start of the year, considering that we have not been voted on our long form posts by the community curation trail since December 5th last year. The Leo tokens were bought from the little HBD rewards we got from Thread's activities mostly.

This week I hope to see more HBD rewards, and I expect to buy more Leo tokens. With the new year rolling in, there is no time better than now to start planning on how we can achieve our LP goals for the year.

I am glad to have found the Inleo community, because for now it's the only place I can see myself in the future, a place where I get inspired daily by the good community members. The community inspired my dream of growing my LP and aiming to be a Lion by the end of the year.
