"Buy LEO token weekly" update: The Journey so far

We started this initiative last weekend being the first weekend of the year. The initiative is part of our new year resolutions and the resolve to achieve the Lion status in the Inleo community pride ranks by the end of the year. As a community member who is benefiting from the system, one of the ways we can give back to the community and support the Inleo project is to consistently buy LEO tokens at every opportunity you can get. Of course, it's all for your benefit, since the more Leo power you have, the better perks you can enjoy in the community.

In a previous post, where we talked about starting this initiative, we highlighted some of the reasons why buying LEO tokens every week should be a resolution you should add to your list this year. Beside increasing your LP, you get community recognition as a true believer of the Inleo project. As your LP increases by your consistent buying, you eventually get the status of a stakeholder, which gives you more influence in the community. Review of last week LEO purchase

To kick start the "Buy LEO token weekly" initiative, we make sure we start right from the first week of the year and buy some LEO tokens to score the week good. We started the campaign with 7 HIVE and bought 47 LEO. That's quite a good number to start the journey. There's no fixed amount of Leo that we can buy in this campaign, the plan is to consistently buying every week either small or large.

This is a journey of 52 weeks, and having the courage to start is commendable. We know we can earn LEO tokens from our engagements and activities in the community, either from threads or on our long form posts, however, when you have a plan to build something for yourself in this space, those tokens you earn are not enough to achieve your goals.

Our first week purchase of 47 LEO was added to our wallet. We would have powered up immediately, but we wanted to add this week's purchase together with it and power them all up on LPUD coming in two days.

LEO token purchase for week 2

This week, the total HBD rewards from our activities only amount to $0.50. This is understandable because none of my long form posts got upvoted last week. Nevertheless, we bought 9.569 LEO with the amount and added it to the wallet. In total, we now have 137.44 LEO in our wallet waiting for LPUD. Week 2 goal is satisfactory accomplished. Remember, it's not about buying big, but that we buy some consistently every week.

The plan for the initiative

On this initiative, the plan is to use 20% of our HBD rewards from across all Hive activities to buy LEO tokens every week. So far, we have not been following the plan because we have not earned any rewards from other activities except from Threads. We are committing 100% HBD rewards to this course for now until things gets normal for us from other activities, especially our long form posts.

The amount of LEO tokens we will be buying weekly will depend on the amount of HBD rewards we get each week before the weekend. As our HBD rewards increase, that's if we get upvotes on our long form post, we will revert to our original plan of 20% of our earning for buying LEO. Of course, that will mean a larger amount of LEO being bought every week.

We are committed to this plan, and it's one step at a time. 2 weeks out of 52 weeks have been completed, step by step we will finish this journey.
