Those wagtails have some cheek! I don't think you dreamed too much of it. They are always daring and have some of the bravest hearts! Always so happy and chirpy. The ones in Kleinmond at my father's place always enters the home, in search of some cheese (because my brother once fed them some).

I really enjoyed the story, as the birds always have their own personality! Thank you for sharing, and keep well!

I am sure they have great memories of us as well! As they always return, or at least their children I presume! I am not sure how old they grow to become.

It depends on the type of squirrels, as in the wild they live to about 8 years. But a lot of them in the wild die within 2 years. In captivity they can live up to about 15 years. !LOL
