RE: Golden Lagers and Garlic Chicken

Oh my, that is not cool at all! At least the "Premium domestic" beers here in South Africa uses quality ingredients. Some of them are actually better than some craft beers in my opinion. Hence why it is so sad for me to pay so much for craft lagers. For a lager here, let us say a pint, costs about $1 USD. But the same craft lager beer is easily $1.8-$3 USD per pint. Sometimes even more expensive. But I also have the memory linked with one of them "Black Label". My father and I always drink one when we cook together. So, it is not just about the beer but the nostalgia linked to it.

But I have heard from people how bad the US beers are. I am yet to try one, as I think we once had Bud here in South Africa, but I have never really tried it before.

I see what you're saying.

It's all personal preference too. I'm not a fan of the premium domestic beers here in North America but other people love them and dislike craft so 🤷
It's worth trying out if you ever get a chance
