Second day of training: practice make perfection
Good day everyone,
On the second day of our training we were asked to work on what we have learnt in previous day which is how to make money bag and spring roll. Of which we did good justice to our work. We were able to make samosa and spring roll.


Later we learn how to make some food items on our menu. There are some staff who are on the floor attending to customers that doesn't know the how in making some of our food and this makes the management to decide to make wait staff to work in the kitchen so as to be familiar with the process there by making the wait staff to be able to attend to our customers better.
Just imagine a wait staff who want to sell food and doesn't know the how or the ingredients in making an item. Supposing the customer doesn't like crayfish and told the wait staff and the item the wait staff suggest for the customer is an item that crayfish is inside. What will happen? So for a wait staff to be able to attend to customers well, they have to know the items for each dishes which is on our menu.


Also for the people at the kitchen,they were taken to the floor to explore the place and to learn many things. They were thought how to attend to customers,how to hold tray when attending to customers. The cocktail section is also not left out. They were taught different cocktail and mocktail. Like the blue Monday, long island ,milkshake and the likes.
Day 2 was also fun for us and were able to learn greatly.
