Market Friday: A visit to Ipata market to buy some veggies and stock fish
Hello,
Another day to visit the market, for some time I have not been able to visit the market not that I don't want to go but because of the nature of my job which doesn't allow much to move out so most of the things am buying are from the neighbourhood and the price are always costly than the market.
some days ago I visited the market to buy some veggies though I would have buy from the neighbourhood but since it has long I have gone to the market I decided to see what going on at the market and also to compare there prices of some goods with my neighbourhood.
On getting to the market I was swift with prices of some goods and little amount cannot buy anything in the market. Even the veggies that I want to buy are more costly and most of the market people will say dollar has rise. I wonder if they are using the dollar to trade something that we grow here in Nigeria. Supposing I was told that high price is due to the climatic condition in the country but I wonder why they use dollar to increase price anyhow.
And in Nigeria, our traders make use of opportunity if there is slight changes in the country. they capitalize on the situation to as for them to increase prices of commodity.
I bought little things that my money can afford and I bought some stock fish as well which will be use to gnash my vegetables.
It's so interesting that your market is similar to mine. These days I find buying from these market is a lot cheaper than buying at other places. I've been enjoying my time going to these places too.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENT
