How insecurity skyrocket the price of food in Nigeria

Many issues have been happening in Nigeria and people are not looking at this issues I mean the aftermath of the whole situation and problem associated with it.

Nigeria have been having issues with high price of food and insecurity for so long. The farmers spent alot in making sure that food gets to the market and herdsmen will take their cow and sheep to the for grazing. What do you think about that. Should we talk about the money spent or the labour and their time to cultivate the land ,watch it from time to time ,month after month and when it has grown almost to harvesting period and one cattle will just eat the all crops.

Also the insecurity in Nigeria cannot be left out,it has greatly affect the high price of food. Imagine banditry going to the villages and killing people or taking them as hostage, in this kind of situation people will leave their farm,houses and run for their dear life.
Furthermore high cost of transportation with the insecurity in the country there will be high price of transport fare which will make things difficult for farmer to be able to transport their goods at cheaper rate.

What we don't know is the people that take the heat is the vulnerable people ,the people that doesn't have much which makes them to be able to provide the most basic needs which is food ,shelter and clothing.

At this juncture, I wonder what we can do. What is your take on this?
