That's cool that you are self directing. I go through a local credit union for my retirement plan. The new person grew up in China so she didn't bat an eye when I suggested gold and crypto to the plan.

I'm 'Retiring' somewhat earlier than I wish to. The numbers are good enough to have a go assuming my gold and silver stack will keep up with inflation and income from at least four sources.
Time to take charge of my own health and finances with both hands on.
I will be looking forward to grand kids one day soon.
