Rising Star X HiveNaija: What You Need to Know And My Experience

Hello Hivers and members of the Hivenaija community. This week, I will be opening your eyes to another aspect of hive that you might have seen, you haven't seen, know, or know nothing about. This is the Rising Star Game.

You might be wondering what Rising Star is all about, but the truth is, if you don't know, then you have been missing out on a lot. Rising Star is a music career game on the blockchain where you play to earn real money and receive some NFTs that enhance the gaming experience. They have been around for years on Hive, and there are many Rising Star gamers, members in the Hive Naija community, including myself.

I joined the Rising Star game last month, and it has been a roller coaster for me because I can always play the game while doing other things. Yes, you heard that right. Immediately, you register on their site using Risingstargame.com you will be met with a page like this.

You will notice in the image of a person standing in the left corner. Well, that's what you are going to see when you register newly because you have got nothing yet. Your total fan will be at 10. The reason why you have 10 Fans at first is so you can play the first game, which is in the home hometown. In the hometown town there are missions like

• Illegal Busking
• Open Mic Night
• Mid-Week Support Slot
  and the likes

Remember what I told you, you can play this game and do other things, all you need to do is start the game and let it start running while you minimize the page and do something else. It's that easy.

Another thing you should know is that, as a newbie in the game, you should play it more often to increase your level because only then will you be able to get the NFTs card that will help improve your luck, and open other missions for you to be able to place.

Now, for you to be able to play some missions, you will need a higher level, and the more you play the game, the more your level will increase. Now, level is not the only thing you need to play some special mission, you need fans too. The more you get the NFT cards, the more your fans will increase, and then your Ego stats will be displayed.

If you look at the first image compared to this, you would notice the level and the number beneath my avatar are now different. Then, beside the energy bar, you will see the new bar that has been displayed. That bar is my Ego, and that was when I newly bought the NFT cards.

One thing you should know is that the more your Ego, the lesser the reward you can get from the games you play, so how do you reduce the stats on your Ego. It's simple, play the Music Lessons mission, and it will help reduce your Ego. How does one Ego increase, you may ask? It's quite simple too. If your Fans are higher than your skills, your Ego will continue to increase if you play other games to earn starbitz instead of skill.

It's in the Music Lesson, the rewards are skills, but in other missions, you get starbitz. This starbitz can be used to purchase the NFT cards, which will make your gaming experience more smooth, but if your Ego is high, then no matter the mission you play, you will earn little starbitz.

The game isn't that challenging, and if I see anything I am not sure about, I have a friend who also plays the game. I would ask her, and if she has no answer for it, I will ask my question in the Discord server. Joining the Discord server is also important because of times like this.
