CineTV Contest: WALL-E (2008) - A Timeless Classic.

Hello, amazing citizens of the Cinetv community and everyone on Hive, it's a new week for the Cinetv contest, and this time we are to talk about our favorite Disney movie. The truth is that, when I saw the prompt, the first movie that came to my mind was "Shrek", but then, I wasn't sure if it was a Disney movie, so I had to do my research and found out it wasn't. The news broke my heart. it was a DreamWorks movie, and I don't know if it would be accepted as a Disney movie. Anyways, since it has been on my mind to talk about it, I will write about it during the week too.

For this week's contest, I did a little search and found a classic Disney animation movie that came out a long time ago, and this is an animation that left a mark on me, even though it was a long time ago I last watched it.

The name of this film is Wall-E

When we talk about classic Disney movies, Wall-E has to be mentioned. "WALL-E" is a beautifully crafted animated film that has stuck with me since its release in 2008. I remember watching this movie with my siblings, and we were all caught up in the action of the robot named Wall-E.

You see, according to the story, 700 years in the future, humans already left earth and they left the cleaning up or so in the hands of a robot named Wall-E. Humans now mostly depend on robots to do most of the things they want to do.

Growing up, I always loved Disney movies because it was one of the kind of movies my siblings and I watch growing up. The story of this film shows how being alone can be detrimental to a person. We as humans we are social people, which means we need to relate with other people for us to be able to achieve something but were things get interesting is that, even robots feel lonely too just like our fav robot Wall-E.

WALL-E's life is one of solitude, collecting trash, and compacting it into cubes. However, his existence takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of EVE (Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator), a sleek and modern robot sent to Earth to search for signs of plant life.

Eve job was to check if earth can be inhabited again by human, and while it was on this mission, it or she found Wall-E and they became aquitant, they fell in love and when it was time for Eve to report back to where it came from, it was forcefully taken but Wall-E won't let her go that easily, so it followed her through space hanging on her spaceship.

One thing I loved about this film is how it portrays how far a person is ready to go for the one they love. This isn't just about robot love, but about how we view love in general. Many people can't even remember what it means to be in love, and currently, love feels transactional, but with the story of Wall-E and Eve, it can ignite something within us.

The movie's message is timeless and continues to resonate with audiences today. In a world where technology is increasingly dominant, "WALL-E" reminds us of the importance of human connection and the need to take care of our planet.

If you haven't seen this film, I think you should. The film is a film that tells that there is always hope in a place where there seems to be no hope. I would rate it a 9.5/10 because of how impactful it is to the viewers.

Thanks for reading. Here is a trailer

Of all Disney's animated films, this one is among my favorites for being an apparent love story between robots in a dystopian future. The animation is great, as is the soundtrack and the way we see this world turned into a pigsty and outer space.

Good review.
