WHAT'S EATING ROUTINE??
Stumbling on the post for this edition, I was so excited because it has to do with what one does everyday. Eating habits are those routines or activities or practices that people create based on how they eat or consume food.
Eating habits are practices people develop which affects the way they consume food for their well being.
Eating habits could also be seen as strategies that people use in taking care of their body with food. As this occurs frequently, it metamorphosis to habit.
There are different factors that has influences eating habits of people. In this post, I would share some of these factors as well my experience thus far about eating habits. Some of these factors are;
Family background, personal preference, culture, emotional state etc.
When I was much tender, I eat to stupor not just because of any health benefits but just to ensure that my stomach is well filled. I concentrated on the quantity instead of quality. Once I see food, I eat to my satisfaction in respective of whether it's balanced diet or not. Let there be something in the stomach. Now that I have grown, I have been able to develop habit for eating. To sustain an eating habits, one must define himself and identify the pattern of eating he wants.
Here are some habits I have developed over time as routines in my house.
- Once in a week precisely on Sundays, I don't eat in the morning before going to church. This normally helps me and keeps me alive to face the day. When I'm too full with food, it will reduce my efficiency and I would be distracted with sleep therefore, I say no to food in the morning till I return from church. I take at least two glasses of water before leaving the house.
- Another thing I do is the evening meals. I don't like taking my night food late so that I would be able to do some work at night.
- I don't like quantity but preferred how quality is the food. I tried my possible best to ensure that I eat a balanced diet and not just junks. A balanced diet contains at least all the six classes of food.
- After meals, I don't like plates to be left on the dinning table or the crumbs littered on the ground anyhow.
- I don't like eating making noise or talking anyhow. The table manner or etiquette should be observed.
CONCLUSION
Eating habits of individuals differs however all of us have it. These are daily or often things we do that crystalized as lifestyle.
