Stumbling on the theme for this edition comes lots of thoughts resonating in my heart owing to the fact that I don't so much like what has to do with water at all. Kudos to the entire management for this kind of efforts in ensuring that all aspects of life are well covered. It's been one level of exposure to another. I'm really learning.

The focus is on the matter of swimming. Before I proceed to share my thoughts and other experiences, I would like to throw little lights on some vital words or sentences that would help us in the course of my write up. Swimming generally is a good activity that affords one quite an experience and benefits which affects the entire body system of human beings. It's expedient that swimming shouldn't be taken for granted because from my little knowledge of geography I have been taught that the earth is surrounded by water bodies hmmm this is a clue to the fact that one should at least have some fundamentals about swimming Incase situation demands.

Swimming is a kind of exercise that entails an individual moving through water by making use of varied skills. It involves navigating through the water with varied techniques which at the end would enable one to stay fit and healthy. Over time, swimming has shown great significance hence I would like to highlight some of these benefits as thus;

One of the outstanding benefits of swimming is that it involves the entire body moving in water. It engages the muscles and every part of the body is worked on. This makes the body to be exercised. I could remember when I went to the stream with some friends and family members. They started teaching me how navigate through the the water body but there wasn't positive response from anyway because fear really griped my heart. From books it was said that swimming helps to improve cardiovascular health meaning it reduces blood pressure and increases heart rate. When virtually all parts of the body is engaged and keeps the body fit.

Another benefits of swimming is that it increases flexibility or the body and movement. The rate at which joints and other parts of the body are exercise will make the whole body alive and ready for any action. It was also said that swimming could reduce or burn some calories hence reduces weight loss. Aside that, it also reduces stress just like it's seen when an individual is tired or stressed out and you take a water bath you feel refreshed and revived similar thing happens when one swims as well. It can also enhance cognitive and rate of concentration.

Swimming could be used for games, or any play activity as family or recreational activities . Sometimes at holidays or breaks one could engage himself or herself in swimming to catch fun with other people. Swimming does a lot to human beings.

I remembered doing a course in health and safety management where I was exposed to some benefits of swimming.

Can I swim?

I know this is where many would like to read through either to laugh or celebrate. Whatever the case might be the truth is that yes I can swim and no I can't swim. I have been taught how to swim but I'm reluctant to be consistent because it was in a bare stream that I learned not in a swimming pool. As I write this, I can't attest whether I can swim or not but one thing I remain resolute about is that when circumstances come in that direction I would scale through. I believe I can survive any condition or ordeal in regards to swimming.

My step daughter do competitive swimming each day , swimming have really many benefits on her physically and mentally.
