Society and standard

Greetings to everyone especially the management of this humble community for all they do in keeping us abreast with engagements. It's been a wonderful and I have been learning a lot.
Society always places demand and expectations on people for different reasons. For instance how an individual should look, behave, love and succeed. Society normally places high expectations on some of the aforementioned factors. In Nigeria, there are lots of expectations from both the government and other reputable individuals. The federal government is planning to come up with another policy remember there are lots of policies in Nigeria that are not effective however let's look at this one perhaps it would be a reality.

If the standard the society places on individuals becomes unrealistic like the tax the federal government intends to mandate every citizen of the nation to pay. This kind of policy is not realistic at all owing to the fact that Nigeria is filled with different kind of personality and social classes of individuals. There are many that are not gainfully employed, how would they live to this expectation? What about people with small scale businesses, what would become of them? Should they put little profit they make to clear off of taxes? Survival would be very difficult and citizens will continue to cry for hardship. This kind of policy won't create an equilibrium between the government and individuals.
There are certain standards that when implemented, it won't give the required results that one wants. In my country Nigeria, there are hundreds of languages. As I type this it has become a great challenge that the leadership hasn't been able to proffer suitable solutions. Any standard release would have both good and the bad phases however the bad dimension supersedes every other one. Paying truly if all the proceeds will be properly used it would go a long to bring about development in the nation. Many times my dear country is very good at coping others a lot without knowing accurately the implications. The fact that something work elsewhere doesn't mean it would replicate itself here. We should try to sieve out the workable strategy.
Some of the unrealistic standards we are bringing in this nation in the area of education is a concern for me. Imagine my kids just started primary one and nursery respectively. Boom 💥 I have started hearing about a new curriculum that the government has brought. This kind of standard of living is actually deceptive to me because I wonder where they got this principles from. I don't think we need to just copy and paste a policy that would be difficult for us to even maintain. What happened to the former curriculum? What new thing are we still bringing on board??? What makes the new curriculum so special? Would the new curriculum cause a positive effect in the lives of the pupils and students? What happened to the poor in the bushes can they afford the new standard of our educational system?
I would advise is better we sir down in a round table to come up with something great that would be ideal and acceptable rather than doing something that won't give a consistent results.
Thanks for reading through.

The demand and expectations of society are utterly unrealistic; some of these expectations will only lead one to trouble. Truly, we should have our own policies here and not copy everything outside. There is more within than going outside to copy and fail continuously.
Wow thanks for this addition. Many thanks
