SOCIAL MEDIA: THE TWO SIDES OF A COIN

I'm Very happy to publish my entry for this edition. I never knew I would be able to write because since yesterday I have been in the hospital with my wife. We were actually expecting our third child. After a thorough process, the Lord finally released the baby in the night. Glory be to God because this morning we were discharged from the hospital. I have been through stress and other challenges but the Lord showed me mercy. Thank God I am able to drop my participation.

Social media has been one of the most effective ways of global change. It has down so so much in the spheres of humanity. Social media has both positive and negative effects on individuals or the society at large. The impact of social media can't easily be overemphasized however I would like to share some few remarkable things that I have personally enjoyed over the years.

Leveraging on social media platforms and converting them to money is not a bad idea even though this precious opportunity has been bastardized by many. One thing I kept to myself is that no matter what you in this life, there are always mischievous people that are like devil always ready to pour sand in whatever you do. I don't always settle for the negative instead I strive towards the positive and impactful one.

One of the pros of social media is that it creates a network that connects across the globe and also builds up community for creativity and productivity. Monetizing social media entails turning social media platforms to make money. There are many ways one could make or generate money on social media.

• Personally I have been involved in online business for a couple of years even though my area of specialty lies within the hive block chain. I have been able to onboard some people that their financial life has changed completely to a degree where they are paying back to the society. Many have made turned it to a means of livelihood while others see it as a means to syphon and carry out all manner of negative activities.

• Making social media platforms as means for money making is good however one must do it with caution. I could remember when I was preparing for my wedding, a junk amount of money will sapped from me. I almost fell into their bad hands but God delivered me at the end of the tunnel. It wasn't a good experience. I have clicked through some links displayed on my WhatsApp with the good intention to see whether i could apply for such opening unfortunately it was a hacked site.

Is monetizing social media the worse thing ever? Not at all because we see differently and draw our conclusions to things differently as well. The advantage of social surpassed that of its negative impacts in the society therefore it should hold water.

Conclusion

I have numerous of people that benefited from varied social media platforms. Recently i met a woman working on her Facebook page to see how she could grow it to make more money. This would help her to be financially independent.
