A BAN ON TIKTOK IS NOT A BAD IDEA

It's another lovely week and I am very happy to share my perspective on this platform. It's been amazing participating and engaging with other authors here. Kudos to other participants for their love and care. May the Lord bless and keep the entire management

Social media has played a significant role in the life of many individuals. Man has suffered from ages especially in the area of communication. I could remember what my social studies teacher told me concerning the various means of communication we had then. There was moment that it took almost a week for a message to be conveyed from one point to another. Sometimes you have to send someone with the message and the messenger travels miles before reaching out to the recipient.

Sometimes back the means of communication was quite challenging and takes much time and energy. The advent of social media has really caused a quantum leap in the entire way how things are properly done. In life, whatever that has its advantage normally has its own disadvantage out there. When I saw the theme for this edition engagement, I was like what would I even write? Which of the social media would I base on now? The topic says which of the social media would I like to be ban if I have the vector power?

As I earlier stated, social media generally has done lots of good things it carries. I could remember the first social media handle I used was 2go. You could easily chat and share love with friends and family. It was educative and all round transforming. Some of the social media have become a good means of communication especially in this present generation. There are lots of sound information that I got via this platform and I have been able to keep abreast with it. I could remember lots of job opportunities I got via the social handle. Some of the social media handles have been a great source of motivation in educational sector. Remember during COVID 19 where there was restrictions to movement. Many people and organizations leveraged on the social handle.

Aside the educational value social media has brought to our society today, there are other benefits it has also added that can't be overemphasized. For the sake of this post, I have been asked to share on which of the social media I would like it to be banned. I don't have sufficient know about other social media handles however from my little experience, I have come to realized that there some media that can be restricted or ban. One of such is tiktok. I don't personally have an account with them but I have heard and watch a lot from the platform. The real idea behind tiktok has been abused. In our world today, many teenagers have turned this social platform for nudity. It will interest you to know that there are not serious events on the tiktok again even though many take advantage of making more money on the platform. There should be restrictions or a regulation placed on the usage of tiktok.
