Sleep and rest You need it
Rest and sleep Just like that? I am happy for this edition of the second prompt in this beautiful community. When I saw the theme even though I was worn out and never knew i could join the engagement but had to do it. I was captivated by the topic because it depict what one does virtually all the time. These two words are always like a necessity for everyone especially in the world where we found ourselves today. All that we believe in is to hustle for survival no one cares about health and rest any longer. As simple and easy these two words are, one must pay good attention to it if not you would even die before your time.
Many times I Will say to myself that I will sleep but at the end I would find myself doing something different and even if I wanna sleep it won't be long I will be awake to ensure that I get done with the task for that moment. This is sometimes hilarious because it could easily get somebody to breakdown. When one breaks down,it could lead to death. I normally say work no dey finish hence have quality time for yourself because there are always standby people to replace you. Be wise and do the needful.
How many hours do I sleep per day? How often do I sleep? Do I have time to rest at all? Truth be told I hardly sleep for eight or nine hours. It will interest you to know that for the past couple of days I slept around 11:30pm or so then wake up as early as 5am or latest pass 5am this has occurred frequently because I had to wind up my days activities. I dropped my post very late last night and similar thing happened tonight as well. I have been in a training since morning and never had break to rest my back. Later in the day I strolled to the market to buy some few stuff. When I returned I gave up and never knew I could still type and drop my entry because I was so tired.

I like resting in the afternoon even if it's just for some minutes because it does a lot in my system. If I don't do that my head will start aching. When I was in school pursing my degree, I used to rest little in the afternoon while every night especially during exams period I run what was called TDB... meaning till day break. We barely sleep for good six or seven hours in a day.
Sleep and rest is very good. If you're guilty definitely it will reduce your life span and affects your productivity. Do you know when you don't sleep adequately it may result to complicated health issue? There's need to have a planned schedule where sleep and rest will be featured. Sleep helps the muscles to relax. I am determined to transform this new year.
No matter how you hustle please rest.

Sometimes I find myself feeling sleepy while in school or at work and i tell myself that the moment I get home I am going to sleep but funny how when I get home I don't even sleep.

It's great just as you acknowledge the important of adequate sleep, how ever alot of tasks on our deck and most time we don't like sleeping when we still have task to cover up... Meanwhile, just like you have said, no matter how much to work, one should create time to rest and sleep...
That's just it
Sleep and rest is one thing we ignore that is very necessary to our day to day activity and it have to be taken seriously...
What breaks some people down is lack of rest
