SCIFI PROMPT WEEK 3// ANGER MANAGEMENT MY PERSPECTIVE

This is my third participation in this beautiful community. It's been an amazing moment weekly here. One of the fundamental thing in life is what this prompt seeks to address. I have seen a lot of people and counsel many and the common ground i was able to establish is on the issue of anger. Let me proceed as i shared what happened to a classmate of mine during our studies. He almost lost his relationship due to anger. The lady misbehaved and he couldn't control it because the attitude was quite disgusting. Later they bundled themselves to my house. I was able to settle them even the lesson learnt was that anger if not managed could lead to a break of relationships.

Every human being has anger but the degree to which is managed is what matters. Anger is a natural emotion that everyone experiences. In this post i would like to share some tips on how anger can be managed and possibly shared some life experiences how i was able to over come it. Anger is not a crime but what you do when angry is what matters must. If your anger can be turned to something productive things would have been better than where it is now.
Anger has both positive and negative implications.

Let me share an experience that occured just yesterday with the oldest boy that stays with me. I have given him an outline of what to do everyday but he altered the whole schedule. The work he ought to have done in the morning and afternoon he left it till evening. Immediately i noticed that the tempo of my voice changed completely and i started shouting on him. I almost wanted to flog him because of his attitude. I could see an act of remorse on him. I was deliberate when talking to him so that the anger won't resort to giving him scars on his body.

My little strategies in managing anger;

  • Try and study the danger of anger. There are many published transformational books look for them and study. You would discover their flaws and success stories in order to see how to manage your own.
  • Engage in exercise periodically. This would help to regulate and control the body system.
  • Avoid over reaction to things. Try and control the way you talk, think and do things.
  • Discover your temperament and work on it.

Conclusion

Anger is an issue that everyone fights against though not easy but we can outgrown or overcome it. Think positively and act productive. Thanks for reading my entry.

You have shown some very good examples for anger management.Of course, if we know about the benefits and harms of anger, then I think the potential for harm is greater in the case of anger.So if we follow your advice to read books, we will definitely benefit from it.Thank you very much for participating in the contest.
