One of the virtue I don't take for granted is patience. Sometimes you won't know whether you are patient or not until it's tested. Patience is the ability or capacity to accommodate something. Patience entails the ability to endure difficult situation without complaints. It has a lot of benefits and values. Most challenges that confronts man today is as a result of lack of patience. Many marriages are broken today because the spouse couldn't come to the realization of how patient they need to be. I'm quite sure that if this virtue can be seen in an individual's life, things would certainly turn around.

Let me share some significance of patience that I have noticed if put into consideration would go a long way to cause a positive impacts in the lives of people.
The most prominent importance I have noticed is that patience promotes relationship. It brings about understanding and good communication between people. No two human beings are the same. There are always distinctive factors that brings about their variation therefore one party must learn to be patient and accommodative to one another. We you have good understanding of each other, it would enable one to live even in unity even unto marriage because there would be compatibility.

Patience could one in terms of decision making. This allows an individual to have a deep thoughts or reflection over things before conclusion is drawn. When decision is taken in haste, it could mar or have a negative impacts on one's life but when carefully considered, it will foster good relationship.

Another key factor that patience does is that makes someone to give priority or focus on the main thing and see how goals can be attained. There are certain goals that if not properly managed patiently, it can't be achieved. When you rush in, you may have the tendency to rush out.

I could remember an incident that occured between my uncle and another man, my uncle was furious. He couldn't manage himself and anger. It all resulted to a serious conflict between him and the man. I was actually expecting him to be patient and have a better understanding but he displayed the opposite.
Being patient doesn't make one to be a fool or insolent or unproductive. Patience is a great virtue that I desired to always possess. I pray that this virtue be seen in us always.
