OH...THE MATTER OF THE HEART

It's another beautiful week and it has been an amazing moment here in my axis even though as a country hmmm it been another dimension of things due to protest against the government leadership. It has really halted some few things across states but I remained eternally grateful to God for his mercies and love over my life. My gratitude goes to the entire management of this precious community for this kind gesture they've been creating for all the participants. God bless and keep you.

The topic before us is really a deep theme that needs a little brainstorming to be able write something. I had to take a little time to reflect deduce some things before I made head way.
A lot of things has been said concerning the heart. To me the heart is like the power house of the body system where everything about the body is regulated. The Bible talks a lot about the matter of heart. Since I was born till now i am an adult, I have not finished studying the matter of heart. Infact even my heart is under the mercies of God.

Every thought, actions emanates from the heart. You're the product of your thought, imagination which comes from the heart. It is difficult to understand the condition and motive behind the action of the heart. I may say A but right within it could mean C. Some people are not what you think they are because there is no alignment between what they say and what they do. Hmmm the matter of the heart is heavy and difficult. If there is a difficult thing I have ever seen in life, is the matter of the heart.

The uniqueness in our make up can't be overemphasized Wich is one of the major reasons that account for the kind of activities a man does. I remembered a short story from the Bible which talks about two men that went to synagogue to pray, one went and started mentioning his self righteousness. He presents himself to be more holy and righteous than others. He pretends as if he had no sin at all but his heart was filled with evil intentions. His mouth was expressing something different from the reality of his heart. God detested his offering of prayers.

The second person approached God with total humility and obedience. He looked so sorrowful and admitted he is full of weaknesses and can't help himself except God shows mercy. He didn't amplified himself but from the bottom of his heart to expression of his mouth you could see the life of a humble personality.

Everyone has a pattern of giving however I dislike any giving that is done for show to people or proof a point to people. I like secret giving. Some people give because they want to obtain favour from men. In fact what of the things that gets me pissed with so many politicians today is the way the render help to humanity. Imagine my governor couldn't do anything during his first tenure in office. Towards the end of the tenure, he suddenly began some projects just the gain people's heart and favour. He went and recruit many young people as media aids so that they can publish his antecedent online. The truth remains he never meant it for the good of everyone. Your motive is as important as the act itself.

Recently we received a report about our governor isolating some areas in the state that failed to cast their votes for him. He used that as a yardstick not to even introduce a little project of government's presence in such areas till date. His act of benevolence supposed to be for everyone not just for selected areas. What kind of heart and mind is this?

This is my conclusion, people with the less impact are the people that invades social media handles with the so-called praise of their achievements. Even though people would learn from such act but the motive is very important.
Why do you act the way you do?
Help people because we need to show love to them not because of your ulterior motive. What's your motive in giving?
